Frustrating match that and with the same culprits not pulling their weight in Evans, Bell and BJ. Could have gone differently on a different night, course - but it didn’t! We out played them for the majority but those three in particular are a hindrance. Have to think it would have gone differently if they weren’t playing.

Said it at the start and nothing has changed. Bell and Evans are a hindrance. Absolutely useless the pair of them!
Take them both off immediately -

I called it that Sarr would be the damgerman pre match. I thought he typically lined up LW though. As it stands Bell is being torn a new one.
Think the Watford Boss knows that Bell can be tore apart so moved Sarr

Also, who said Brereton couldn’t hold it up?

Bell is a hindrance and Evans is absolutely infuriating.

He played central v Newcastle, anytime the ball was coming into the attacking third, he was stood outside the penalty box, never with any intention of getting into the box. He has absolutely no instinct to get into the box or to anticipate goalscoring chances.
I also think that it is a little unfair to blame Mowbray for "shafting" Dolan. He had a bright start but was totally ineffective in the last couple of games, couldnt get involved and tried one or two tricks in counter productive areas. He is a kid who has only just started playing first team football, perhaps we got a bit carried away early on, he is still clearly a promising talent but its understandable that at the moment such a raw and untested kid is struggling to impact games and may need taking out the firing line and putting on the bench.
I'm willing to give him more than a game against a Premier League side to see if he 'has it'. He has to have it otherwise he's a failure and a waste but he's not had a real chance to prove it being played out of position all the time.
I was being facetious about Mowbray. However, Dolan is hardly going to shine against Forest when he had the ball hoofed forwards most of the game because we had Buckley, Evans and Johnson having a bad game behind him.

Brereton up top?!? Have people learnt nothing.
He's not a goalscorer, he can't hold it up or anything?
His hold up play has improved a lot since March. And I wouldn't know if he's a goalscorer or not because he hasn't played up top from the start of a game? We bought him as a striker, best see if he can do it. Deserves a chance to play there at least.

For me, Evans and Buckley should not be starting this game. I would start the below:
Kaminski
Nyambe Ayala Lenihan Bell
Holtby Johnson Trybull
Dolan Brereton Armstrong
I can see Mowbray throwing Gallagher in the side - probably instead of Dolan but I think he still deserves to start after Mowbray shafting him tactically in the last game with the long ball. Would also like to see BB up top with Armstrong outwide. -
We didn’t have a chance to win this game when Mowbray decided to choose an Evans, Johnson and Buckley midfield 3 and chose to play hoof ball from the off.
awful all round

Ffs, Buckley is having a stinker today. We needed Holtby.
Don’t. You’ll upset some people with talk like that.
its his first start. He needs to be working harder and trying to make an impression. Don’t care if others have been poor, Buckley is trying impress and he’s done the opposite. Wasteful in possession and awful work rate. you have to be an unreal player to get away with his lack of work rate.

this could be the end of dolans tenure in the first team?
Been hoofing it to him all game. Almost like he wants him to struggle and have an excuse to bring on SG. Awful tactics for the first 60 so far

How can folk have a go at Buckley after the 40mins Evans and Johnson have just put in?
Ayala our best player, don’t think that will be the last time I say that this season.
Everyone knows how shite Evans is.

Buckley is just walking round like he’s never played football before

Every time he scores another Nobber heart shatters into a thousand pieces. It's beautiful man.
I love their argument that we only got him because he couldn’t get in their first team. They’re more stupid than I thought if they can’t see his potential.

I did notice on Rothwells Instagram that he had been out and about. Even in Blackpool at one point! Seems like a strange decision on his part to risk himself but footballers are humans too. I’m sure nobody is more annoyed than himself if it’s true
-
Downing is being brought in because Bennett is injured. That’s the only reason I can see for why it is happening! I’m not against it in that sense, we need some experience on the bench.

Can I redo my team please?

I'm extremely excited about this transfer deadline day's dealings but I am starting to worry that Coventry are going to come in with that bid for Travis in the next 2 hours

Funny you say that. I screenshot, read it and it brought my attention to him and White. Don’t worry, it’s been rectified ?

I think the end product needs to come to get that monkey off his back, just chipping in now and then even
Yeah, I can see that. I think he's had to change the way he approached the game before COVID so hopefully that side will come as time passes. He has been a completely different animal post-lockdown. A goal would do him the world of good because we did buy him as a striker but playing where he is now, we don't need 15-20 out of him. 5-10 would be nice!

Mowbray needs to start some new players and get rid of some players from the 11 that have been holding us back, so we can start moving forward.
Kaminski
Nyambe Lenihan Williams Douglas
JRC Trybull Holtby
Elliot Armstrong Brereton
