  1. Very comfortable today, good to see the players working hard.

Lovely to see normally dependable ex-PNE players missing pens and also to see Stoke’s fans losing their heads after 20 minutes. My suspicion is that it booted off outside the Darwen End after.

Also amusing to hear them call somewhere else a shithole and they’d like to go home.

A good day at the office today, but obviously the bigger problems remain- but good to hear Venky’s and Waggott out chants, think the tide is finally turning!

In which case he might make a statement at the end of the season.

I think the inference initially, was that sometimes marginalised players, who’ve allegedly fallen out with managers, have piped up, when those managers have left the club.

Just merge all the various owner threads into a ‘Rao’ thread?

    Mods?

Done. Just a note to everyone- please can we have a bit of a deeper search, before electing to start a new thread?

There seem to be quite a few threads discussing the same thing of late.

There is certainly question to be asked, why we have one user who can do this and it has to be the secretary, It maybe a FA Rule, I genuinely don't know, but I'm sure one of the groups will pose this question perhaps the Fans forum

I usually have 1 or 2 questions for the FF, but I’ve already filled a notepad doc on my phone for the next one, including the above!

Just seen that Waggott is reliably reported to have delayed the Adam Wharton paperwork to beyond the deadline leading to Palace being horrified by our unprofessionalism.

Doesn't exempt Venkys from criticism but Swag has exploited their hands off style to his advantage.

The Wharton paperwork story points to Waggott being the villain in screwing up McGuire and probably the two failed transfers last January in a failed attempt to get Broughton out and giving Waggott sole control over everything.

If the Wharton deal failed, fans are delighted to have Adam back, Venkys still pump the cash in in March.

Fan protests would be muted, Broughton certainly goes as the fall guy and Swag rules.

Where’ve you seen this, re the Wharton paperwork?

Why do people keep repeating the same line? It's getting tiresome.

It's EVERYTHING to do with the owners because they keep employing chances like Waggott and Broughton then take no action when they constantly  fuck up.

    Absolutely zero accountability.

Probably because you slag off GB and Waggott a lot more than you do the owners, would be my guess.

Aware that you acknowledge that they’re the main problem obviously.

It does, I and many others appreciate that, however it's embarrassing looking back don't you agree?

So what if it is? It’s been and gone, as people post in the heat of the moment.

People are allowed to post as they please during the match. Some may find it embarrassing, some may not.
As long as nobody is breaking any rules or threatening each other, they can crack on.

Just seen Boro are selling Rogers to Villa.  Follows on from selling Akpom in the summer.

Clubs have to trade and that invariably involves losing your most valuable assets - i.e the ones that will command the biggest fees.  Unfortunately it's the way it has to be.

That’s true- as long as the money goes back into replacements for the departing players. History tells us that isn’t always the case here. I’d obviously love to be proven wrong on this one!
