Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?

Anderson was a simple ploy by the agent not the club i think this well publicised in any case it’s not comparative to the pears theory -

That’s different some one is alleging Mowbrays did his mate a favour and gave Pears a 4 yr deal - that is something that clearly is not true it’s rabid speculation -

That list is obsolete - the first page alone is filled with premier league players/loaners who were signed when clubs were in the PL. In todays market most of them are out of contract and will never be signed for such wages again. Interesting to note Rovers are not amongst the top payers because it couldn’t be sustained in any way! -

That’s nothing but rumour I doubt for one moment if the clubs transfer policies are governed by venkies there’s not a chance he would have just got away with signing his mates son and to think it is just utter rubbish -

Let’s put it into perspective Nyambe is not good enough to play in the EPL defensively naive, great speed, poor header and crosser of the ball and at times lacks positional sense in the EPL he would be found seriously wanting unless of course he can be nurtured into a far better player, it’s my opinion and others may differ. I would be willing to listen to his attributes which make him a nailed on premier league player in his current guise -

So explain the differences between Travis and Kaminski new deals and the ones who have left ? Kaminski is an established international keeper worth a lot more than DL and RN together and yet he signed - Travis offers more to the team than RN and again he signed as have a host of young players who should hopefully make it to the first team. -

The point Rev being that if Rovers have for example a budget for first team wages of £12m with a structure in place then you stick to it unless you have a player of extreme worth/value - neither Lenihan or Nyambe fit that bracket whereas Armstrong was offered a deal that went upwards of the wage bracket because he did have the value and talent. -

What I am saying is that the club appears to offered a very good deal to both Dl and RN both have turned it down. Do you expect Rovers to break their salary structure ? I don’t and I am sure others won’t. DL stated he has premier league ambitions and signed for a club that finished 2 place above us in the league ! Nyambe thinks he is a PL player in the making I like many disagree again he is only worth what the club think in terms of salary there is no need to break limits. So on the basis of the above added to lengths of contract then yes the club have done what they can it is the players who have declined the offers and who have all the cards in their favour - DL going to Boro wont change my mind about them being an awful club however it’s worth noting that it appears not one other club bigger or better than Boro have come in for him! Likewise RN, led to some fans think in he was leeds bound however once again there is little sign of any big clubs coming in for him and if he thinks Stoke is his future ambition wise then good for him another shithouse club shit fans and most certainly not a club with bigger ambition than Rovers -

No one is flowering or painting it up, it’s reality. If rovers offered the world and more and the player declines there’s faff all else can be done and no one repeat no one is to blame -

You are or appear to absolving the players part in contract negotiations, the club can do loads but if the player declines then that’s it ! -

It’s a simple question stop being so uppity about it ! I will defend the club as and when I see fit as I will also point out deficiencies when I see them. -

Let’s see - BBD has a poor start to the season doesn’t score as freely and then suffers a bad injury in the run up to Christmas - no top clubs will go anywhere near him - for me offering him a deal with certain release/performance clauses seems an option and protects both player and club -
Lad? How condescending cha😅

In answering your question I do not know what last years proposed works were on the pitch what I do know is this years work is enhanced, more lighting equipment to supplement the jw side of the pitch due to the height of the stand . There is a new boiler system and energy supply system , it’s greener and cost effective and helps the pitch recover quickly, the riverside had had drains reconfigured due to the overflows into the river adjacent to the stand and there is now a better fertiliser in place again to assist the pitch recovery. The new weave is across both ends of the pitch and should sustain it far better than it ever has in recent times . Inekll say again to the likes of Damo who persists in believing this hasn’t happened I’ve given you the specifics now go and disprove them because if you can then I can go out there in public and name and shame the people I have spoken to as being liars and I am sure the multimillion pound company won’t be too happy about that😅

Dig what deeper ? Bring some evidence to dispute it instead of blathering
-
I’ve given you the facts as I know to be true. You have given nothing to dispute it other than what you understand from speculation and rumour I would suggest that it is now for you to underpin your claim with factual evidence to disprove what I have outlined. If you don’t believe a full weave has been undertaken across the goalmouths, new additional Lighting, better and more expensive fertiliser and power management of the undersoil heating pop your clogs down to Ewood and get the answers first hand

The Ryan Nyambe Appreciation Thread

Anyone who thinks agents are not in it for themselves is deluded of course they want the best for their client because they take 10% or more of what they can get! You only have to read the books by long passed agent such as Eric Hall to know that😅 -

He has failed to achieve most of the kick in clauses inserted when he left Ewood and if he is sold Rovers will get a compensatory lump sum from Southampton -

Every once in a while a player of superb talent emerges - I have seen this lad play and from the very first time I watched him he was head and shoulders above older players - these days the huge clubs nurture their own from a very young age and often gobble up the talent on offer at other clubs for big money - at the very least if he progresses and subsequently moves for big money it’s kudos to the Ewood coaches granted he might get injured tomorrow and it’s career over but for me he ranks alongside six or seven really good talented players coming through the club - here’s hoping they all progress to become stars in blue and white shirts of BRFC -

Not to sure I agree there is always a player that gets a chance and becomes a sensation. Rooney, Owen are examples of this indeed we have had our own previously at Ewood with Phil Jones his debut games sealed his rise to superstar bracket even if injury marred his United career -

I wonder then why the top clubs in England are covering him? Must be something there me thinks -
Then until that poster has evidence to the contrary he they it should respect it until they prove otherwise seems to be a simple logical suggestion Ask a question and get an answer👍

Armstrong to Watford with a loan to buy fee of just over £8m! Rovers have a sell on clause for him but at that price it won’t be much -
I don’t think that article reads right in any case there has been a hefty investment in the pitches across the football sites
