  1. that was one hell of a day...10 6's in one day1
  2. out of the test! god must be english!
  3. I would predict that Rovers would end up about 9th wigan/WBA/west ham to go down
  4. getting in your excusses already?
  5. I can't see england putting collingwood in the squad and not picking him for the team on thursday
  6. I would (IMHO) consider Gilchrist a batsman who can keep (and keep very well mind you) rather than a 'keeper who can bat. A bit in the Alec Stewart mold
  7. Questions should be asked of whoever has planned this summer's fixtures. 334642[/snapback] The ECB and they botched it up-totally 1. The ashes should have started earlier in the season, so english seam bowlers can take advantage of damper and greener wickets, and reducing Warne's effect 2. to many ODI's allowing oz to find their form, and thier bowlers to get fit. Those 3 ODI should have been played after the ashes. 3. 1st test at Lords (where the aussies always win) 4. not having a Test in Leeds, with a wicket that would suit bowlers like Hoggard. still some postives for the rest of the series. 1. The aussies don't like KP, and he can play Warne 2. No Lords slope to aid McGrath. 3. Partisan growd at Egbaston should stir up england 4. Battings got to improve 5. England will never drop 7 catches in a match again 6. warne will get finger strain from over texting
  8. hmmmmmm the weather matches my current mood
  9. can't understand that none of the English batsman picked Warne, apart from Pietersen. they must have seen enough of him over these years. middle order really concerns me, if the openers fail and with Vaughan not getting any runs the middle order looke very flaky. I think the selectors got it wrong, Thorpe should have been picked instead of Bell, at least it would have given some backbone to the middle order.
  10. just hope we don't find ourselves 20-5, otherwise I be doing the rain dance
  11. check this out; http://www.channel4.com/sport/microsites/B.../bringiton.html
  12. I would be worried if you got tickets for sundays play...
  13. if england win the ashes where in blackburn is the best place for Emerton and Neil to hide?
  14. As a fully trained chemist, I have checked the ease at which info can be found on the web on producing acetoxyacetone (acetone peroxide), the chemicals that was found in one of the bombers houses...it would appear that you would only require a very basic practical chemistry understanding to make this chemical. These chemicals can be easily purchased from chemicals suppliers with little proof needed of intent. Intreasting to compare this with buying of acetic anhyrdride (used in production of heroin) which is a lot tighter controlled. It begs the questions who on earth puts this detail on the web?..and these are not extreame islamic sites.
  15. I think it's the end of Darren Gough's England days..he's looked well below par this series.
  16. I totally agree..who ever game up with this idea of "sharing" should be shot...
  17. following on with a related thread my girlfriend who's parents are from bangladash supported bangladash in the tri nation series. Don't see a problem with this as she said bangladash don't win anything, and in a way she was supporting the under dog, and she does not know much about cricket anywhy..
  18. sorry we woz robbed! england should have won...having lost one fewer wicket...not just tied the game still amazing game...some intial poor batting and bowling by england but pulled it back well in both departments really tense at the last
  19. looks like a defeat...well we got to give them one game to win, and it might as well be this one... could not believe it when I looked up the score this afternoon on interent and england had won the toss and where bowling..strange call for a day/night game
  20. I had a feeling we would get west ham away..strange
  21. I was watching the game, sweeting like a pig, 160-6 when Jones got out, looked like England where making a meal of the chase...got no real momentum going. Then Pietersen started to play, and I tell you what, he can play. Real big game player. At the moment he's got to be the best ODI batsman in the world. should have come in at number 4 instead of collingwood. but thats nickpicking some start to the summer.. it could be a classic
