I mostly access the message board forum on an iphone using safari.
If I visit the topic listings and click on one, the browser text goes blurred and hangs. My guess is that safari is trying to load the advert but stalling.
I then have to refresh the page and try again. So 3 actions to read one post. And it doesn't even present me with the advert. About one times in 10 it does work and I do get the advert.
It's done it since the ad thing changed and I have to say it's starting to annoy me.
I thought I'd raise this in case others are seeing it and/or you were not aware of the issue.

I wouldn't sanction the these 6 clubs as such but I would be looking towards fans having shares within their clubs, fans on club board and any kind of plans like these again Fans need to be consult and ballot before clubs are allow to join them.
If you don't sanction they will try it again with nothing to fear or lose.

Utterly shambolic tactics

Low cost, high pressing: how Barnsley took the Championship by storm | Football | The Guardian
If we look at a player who is extremely talented, and his goals and assists are through the roof but he is not able to sustain an element of pressing and defending high up the field for 90 minutes, that is a red flag for us,” says Murphy. “There are lots of clubs that use data and have brought in analysts to push in this direction ... but at Barnsley it’s the principle, it’s the root of what we are doing. There are clubs that say, ‘We need to bring it in as an ingredient’ but here it is the bedrock. Like Brentford in a way and Red Bull on a global scale, data is the first thing that wipes out the noise for us.”
What a depressing quote.
I wonder how many Frank Worthington’s would make it in today’s game - maverick footballers who excite and are the very reason you watch football.

I know every post in every thread has to be about how Mowbray needs to go, but that was an enjoyable first half. Much more forward ambition than we’ve shown for months.
How many shots on target/ real chances to score did we have?

I just don't get what enjoyment a pathetic Ref like Eltringham gets from doing what I have to say is a difficult job.
Its just that he's so consistently very poor, looks unfit and knackered and largely disinterested.
It can't be just that he gets to wear a cute pink shirt, can it?
I kind of understand the ones who are all musclebound wanting to show off in public but not so for the weedy types.
Poor blighter doesn't even get VAR to hide behind.
Championship Refs get paid a retainer of of between £38,500 and £42,000 based on experience and then £600 per match. So if they do 20 games a season, good money. And I guess many still have a day job!

Conceded first (again), losing (again), playing nothing football (again), no effort (again), no passion (again), no ideas (again)..
And I don't even care. Cheers Tony.
Maybe this will be the "nowhere to hide" spanking we've been needing to finally get him the push now we've finally fell into the bottom half.
You do care. It just doesn’t hurt anymore.

Yep, the last question stuck out when asked -
And I know you're not big on milestones but four years at a football club is a pretty big achievement, is there anything that stands out in your time as manager that you take great pride in? A proud memory or a favourite moment?
No.
That answer says it all.

A quick question for people in the know - how large is the Brockhall complex - is there any existing land not actually used - would it be possible to sell off part of the land and consolidate to a smaller foot print while keeping a state of the art academy - how much would the sale potentially generate ?
That question is ready made spin for the club. They will be taking notes reading this thread, ready for the statement which will be brought forward now this is out, probably sooner then they were expecting.

We will honour Jack Walkers legacy my arse.

Very good. Hope you enjoy yourself on there.
I was trying to be helpful in case you had missed it, from your comments it appeared you had because you made an incorrect statement.

Thanks for taking the time to explain all that. Much more humane than the other replies I received who just jump at the chance to try and belittle someone from behind a keyboard for sharing their opinion. What your saying makes sense. My biggest concern is that people talk about getting Tony out. But no talk of who they would have in instead. Could be out the frying pan and into the fire with a Coyle-like appointment.
Theres a 21 page thread titled “Mowbrays Successor” on here.

"We are the team we are, with total respect to Blackburn Rovers, we haven’t been tearing it up in the Premier League for a long time." IT GETS WORSE!! How dare he insult the fans like that. F**k you Tony.
That’s just diabolical. Show’s how much of a connection to the club he has quoting us in the third person. He’s taking the piss and has done for a couple of years imo.

I am fully aware thanks Tyrone that we are in Championship but Taylor or Johansson weren't good enough for then. Both poor defenders
Johnson isnt a centre back either.
Branthwaite you mean? Who has improved our defence and kept back to back clean sheet in last 2 games.
Johanson a poor defender? Good grief.

Warnock tactically outdoing Mowbray in every department. No surprise there though.

The utter disorganisation and managerial insouciance of the Doncaster game meant Dack would still not have received a decent pass if the game were still being played now...
Mowbray hasn't got the first clue how to fit Dack in with the other players at his disposal.
I think Dack misses someone to play football with. Danny Graham’s impact playing with him is underated I think.

True, it better be. I did get a bit carried away. But still he doesn't do much does he?
I would have potted him two seasons ago after the PNE away game and said so at the time. There was no way back for me after the lack of professionalism shown by the management in that game. We have wasted 2 years sticking with him and continue to do so.

Perhaps you should have said if Mowbary would wake up to be potted. That picture of him snoozing doing the rounds has angered me, it is disgraceful he should be gone Monday morning just for that with immediate effect.
See in my job and I would imagine 99.999% of all others sleeping on the job is instant dismissal. He is the head man at Rovers, we are losing and he takes a fuckin nap the man's a disgrace. Done with him get him out.
There is every possibility the photo of Mowbray could be a freeze frame of him blinking. Is there any other evidence?
Let’s not peddle fake news.
