Ahhhh, memories of 3 years ago when we were on a high playing well and just outside the top 6. Big following and everyone buzzing.
Mowbray plays no striker and Dack just in front of the back 4. Alex Neil completely out-thought him. It was apalling stuff. His comments after the game were a disgrace as well. Called it then that he would take as nowhere and needed sacking if we wanted to go up.
Owners clearly dont give a shit. Honour Jacks legacy my arse.

He was probably shouted down at the time and told to “give Mowbray a chance ffs etc etc”.
He deserves his badge.

I don’t buy the hero stuff in 2017, he took over and remember us getting out the relegation zone with about 4 games to go after beating forest, we played Barnsley at home and it was like we had nothing to play for, the lineup was a joke and we barely looked like we wanted to go forward.. we lost 2-0 against a Barnsley on the beach. We then played wolves and my friend who’s a wolves fan said all the wolves fans around him had to check we was fighting relegation cause we never looked bothered and they we’re awful and again on the beach and we drew 0-0 when that game would have we kept us up but beating villa and Brentford wasn’t enough.
People seem to forget this. He should have kept us up despite the mess Coyle left us in.

If medics think he’s fit to play he’s in breach of contract isn’t he?
Do we know all the details here?

Who gives a toss what the manager was doing, it clearly worked!
Did the same apply to Sam?

First half a prize turkey of his own making i texted my mate within 3 mins and said no way are we scoring this half.
From nil one down to the end of the game virtually invisible in plain sight.
Go figure.
All a bit bizarre wasn’t it.

A winner.
Pretty much the opposite of our current manager in every way.

Wrong thread but this contract issue throws a side issue on today's game. Those players involved have one eye on greener grass no matter what they say and cannot perform 100% as a team unit.
What about the loanees? I would say the same applies to them.
All footballers are mercenaries.
Some are very good and will give everything for their current team.
Some will look after their own interests.

Dolan is a little boy lost... why have 1 or 2 touches when you can have 20🤷♂️
Just not for me. So easy to defend against players like him. No real pace just tricky feet....
Disagree completely. Decision making needs big improvement but he’s 20 yrs old. If he gets that right he won’t be with us for long.

Another club record tonight - five away matches without a goal. One goal in seven. Not fucking good enough!!!!!
Absolutely fuming tonight. Raging.
He’s good at breaking the wrong sort of records is Tone.

He clips his heals and no yellow!
At least we got a foul. We should be grateful. He’s on a booking so explains it.

Nyambe one was a booking but he let one go for Pickering that would often be a booking and Rothwells is an obvious yellow
Bear in mind we didn’t even get a foul for the “booking” on nyambe

Playing 12 again.

Groundhog day. Mowbray has slipped back into doing the same thing over and over and over again.

Lowe and Evans probably millionaires on the back of their time with us.
The mind boggles.
And people thought they were worthy of extended contracts during their time here. Scandalous. -

No "doh"!
The decision to postpone was a complete nonsense by the referee and NOBODY saw the snow coming!
The pitch was perfectly playable and at 3.30pm Scott Wharton shook his head in disbelief and told me the pitch would take a long stud......go figure!
Ridiculous decision!.....
I had 2 weather apps forecasting heavy snow between 10 & 12 pm on Thursday of this week. I saw it coming.

Your lack of understanding is breathtaking. Undersoil heating is to prevent the pitch from freezing. Having it switched on during heavy snow is an absolute no-no.
As for not covering it, well that's a last resort for when snow is a certainty. Given that when I was out driving just after 10am and not one single road had been gritted, and the A666 through Darwen was gridlocked for 3 hours as a result, I'd suggest that neither Rovers orthe council had any idea that weather was going to happen.
It had been predicting heavy snow from 10-12 pm and rain afterwards on two of my weather apps since Thursday of this week. So i would suggest that they would/ should have known. Based on the weather forecasts, I was personally expecting a postponement of this game since Thursday. Your lack of understanding seems questionable too based on the above post.

JHC, the pitch is pristine!
The chances of the game being called off because of the pitch are ZERO!

A pristine pitch under water is unplayable.
unless your post was a joke…😊

I always liked nets that billowed when a player struck a screamer from 30 yards. These days the nets seem rigid and the ball bounces off, which is less satisfying to me. Am I the only one that thinks this? 🤓
