  1. I will be, yes. Unfortunately I will be sat in the home sections because of who I am going with.
  2. I have admitted to being wrong in the past and I'm sure I'll do so again, probably in the not so distant future. However, I do think that had we lost both of these games we still would have had a chance of UEFA cup football as long as United won the league cup, which they have done, and especially if the FA Cup final worked in our favour. Our chances of Champions League football would have been dead, which I believe I did say and I think our chances will be dead if we lose tomorrow, regardless of what we did last Saturday. If you want to take that as me changing my tune then fine and if you also seem to think that I specifically target you and simply disagree with you for the fun of it then by all means go ahead.
  3. Yes, but now with us only being three points off of the champions league spot I have set my sights elsewhere. Sorry, just had to fulfill the pathological need.
  4. I think we need to win. There are some teams around us like Spurs, Arsenal and Bolton to worry about and then there is the odd team down below us like City, West Ham and Newcastle who I'd keep a close eye on. It's the money end of the season now, none of this "happy with an away draw", we're good enough to win and we should be going for the win. If we shut up shop tomorrow to try and get a 0-0 I think we will have shot ourselves in the foot, especially as I don't think that we could do it and I don't think that it is the best way to deal with the threat that spurs pose.
  5. I would always be interested to see what would happen if English players were given the time and space that they are here on the continent. Teams like Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United would thrive from that week-in-week-out. I think Spain is the only league that can seriously claim to challenge the Premiership for best league, Italy isn't great on quality when you look at the teams lower down. Very sound at the back but I don't think they'd really challenge their Spanish or English equivalents. Part of the reason I'd love us to make Europe is the fact that I could see us doing very well in European competition. I feel our style would be difficult for the opposition to handle and we have enough skill (especially if we improve over the summer as we most certainly would on the back of European football) to beat a lot of sides.
  6. I can tell you our next home game, our remaining fixtures for the season and the results for all the games my memory will allow since I started supporting the club as a 10 year old. Yes, I've never owned a season ticket and I'm sure the number of games I've attended pales in comparison to the number you have, but who exactly do you think you are to go and make those sort of statements about foreign supporters? I know that there are plenty of foreign supporters on here and others who I have met who do the club proud and are some of the best supporters we have. It kills me that I sit in another country on a Saturday and the best I can hope for is the chance to see it on TV. I'm sure most on here could vouch for the fact that my support for the rovers is unquestioned and dedicated, just as I could say the same for the other foreign supporters on this site. You are fairly new to the messageboard and I don't know if you haven't come across foreign supporters of the club before, but you couldn't be further from the mark in the way that you see it. Not only do you know nothing about the group of supporters on here but your attitude will do nothing but harm to the club. We need all the supporters we can get, foreign or otherwise, so I don't care if you couldn't tell us what our colours are if you support the team and maybe get your money to the club through the odd kit or game or whatever it is then you are all that I can ask for. I'm very happy for you that you have a seaon ticket and that you probably always have, I wish I could somehow justify buying one and in the past I have actually considered doing so just to do my bit for the club. Don't question my support though, or that of others on here, and don't get on your high horse about the fact that you have the pleasure of regularly attending matches of the club we all support.
  7. I'd be very happy if we ever played PSG, it would be a good sign.
  8. Alright. I'll let you know when I'm next at a game and I look forward to seeing you at it. Oh and just so you don't get off feeling better than me and the rest of the foreign fans; if I lived within 100 miles of Ewood then I'd be there every home match as well. As it stands for me it just isn't realistic.
  9. Well I look forward to meeting you. Sounds like you could really carry a good conversation.
  10. I can also vouch for the quality, great shirts.
  11. Don't worry about it. Foreign fans will always get a bit of stick now and then and being American won't help. Not worth your time to bother responding to that crap.
  12. They'll never be an end to this debate, but I believe in quality throughout the sides it is the best, quality at the very top few sides or top half it isn't.
  13. Of course our aim is to get 40 points, but I want our aim to be to get 60 points and in doing so get 40 points, not to plan to get 40 and anything else is a bonus. We will always be able to breathe a sigh of relief when we get past the 40 point mark, I just think the club should be more ambitious then to set that as any sort of target and I believe that under Hughes that is what is being done. If you set targets you don't always hit them, but if you set them well within your sights I think it is rare that you exceed them.
  14. West Ham do have a game in hand...but it is to be played against Manchester United.
  15. Not a problem, but yeah one automatic to the league and then two more that can go their depending on cup results.
  16. Good news boys...Lawro has predicted a defeat! (don't think this has been previously posted). We're "wishy washy away" and he expects us to lose 2-1, I'm feeling more optimimistic now.
  17. Yes, 5 and 6 now qualify for the UEFA cup.
  18. The list Darren Gough as a Spurs fan, I know he supports Barnsley and has even worked as a commentator on some of their matches.
  19. Still a football match, I think you should approach them the same way.
  20. True. Though all of my last 3 pc's I've either built or had built for me and I think I've managed to do it at a fraction of the cost I would have had to have spent had they been factory built. Probably more down to having a few good part suppliers more than anything, but it's not something I would stop doing.
  21. If we don't make Europe it will be a massive blow and I will view the season as a partial failure. I was one of those who looked forward to the season with great optimism and thought we could make 6th. Of course I didn't really expect us to, but now we are here it is our position to lose. Fair enough we aren't in 4th and if Bolton win their games in hand then they go 5th, but 6th as it stands is our's. We have a good end of season run-in and I think we should be able to make top 6, but at worst I'm hoping for 7th with the FA Cup helping us out and getting us the UEFA cup that way, anything else really won't do at this stage. I honestly believe we have a better team than West Ham, Wigan, City and Bolton and I'll be gutted if they finish above us.
  22. Looks decent but I think by building your own or having it built for you, you could get it for less.
  23. Why change what has worked for us all season? Especially when you consider that playing 4-4-2 e have beaten better sides than Spurs in recent weeks.
