I work in a bar and people try and cut in front about 200 times a night, I've yet to see anyone famous in though. It's just how people behave, although it isn't right. I doubt the barmaid even knew who he was.

Don't think so. Big teams spend a lot. Fact The reason why Chelsea were labelled as having bought the title is because they essentially bought a new team within two to three years, that is fairly unusually, even in the merry-go-round that is modern day football, but now that Chelsea have had their side together for a couple of seasons it isn't quite the same. We did the same thing. Now, that doesn't take away from the achievement. Putting together a title winning side is difficult regardless of whether that group of players comes through your youth system (United in the late 90's), are put together over a more "normal" period of time (Arsenal before or even United now) or are put together quickly (Ourselves and Chelsea). Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle and Spurs, to name but a few, are all proof that money alone won't bring league success. Teams will always have to accept that if they put together a new squad quickly and for a lot of money that it doesn't look as "good" as if you build that side gradually. That may be unfair, but it's true. Part of why many of us are enjoying the team we are building now is because we are doing it by adding a piece or two every now and then, not by simply splashing the cash and seeing what happens (like City have). We can't be bitter about this forever.

If he works hard on his positioning that could work out for us. I also like the idea of Emerton in central midfield, he certainly has the engine and his pace is useful.
-
Let's remember folks that we were once what they are now. Maybe slightly more loveable as our Abramovich was a local and long-time supporter, but the results for other teams were the same. Unlike United we simply weren't good enough to keep it going.

...I think they'll be alright

A couple of seasons ago I would have said the club's, but now that he has rebuilt that team and put together a side that could win everything for several seasons to come I think it is his. It could turn nasty, but it's fairly unlikely. Let's put it this way, I view our situation in a fairly negative light, but if we all judged Rovers by the same standards that you are judging United's financial and managerial situation then we would all be topping ourselves.
-
Turn nasty? Ferguson has a job for life and will no doubt be offered a position on the board if/when he decides to leave.

Poundstretcher? He'd have to supersize it. -

4k doesn't seem like very much to me actually, I would have expected more. -
He still missed quite a bit of time while he was here. We need to stay well clear of him.

Bought Dark Sector. I've not played much of it, but from what I've seen so far I'd make two comments: 1. Graphics are great. 2. AI is amazingly poor. I also picked up Viking, which looks like it could be anohter Assasins Creed (ie, had the makings of a classic, but fell short).

You really have to mix up your play selection a lot and you need to run the ball. You also need to be hitting guys for short completions rather than going for the big play, basically you have to have a realistic approach. You'll also need to learn when it's the right time to throw.

It's not as simple as that. A great part of MGP's game is the amount of defensive work he puts in, he's been doing that all season, but it goes mostly unnoticed. Where his game has been well below par, apart from the lack of goals, is in his control and his passing. Yesterday both were much better. If he can pass well and keep control of the ball then I don't mind if he doesn't score another goal all season. He's not simply a goalscorer, he can do more than that and he needs to do more than that.

Should have gone with the bears!

Well Fable 2 has now been delayed, a game I was really looking forward to. I just think they shouldn't bother even giving you a release date anymore, I can't remember many big games that have made it out on time in the past couple of years.
-
Quite a lot of people liked him even when he was England manager.
-
It has to be defamatory.
-
The thing about MGP, at least for me, is that although I would sell him, I also wouldn't be surprised to see him be a big success elsewhere. He certainly has talent, in the right team he would be a very good player, as he was earlier for us. I still think he will turn it around eventually.

Seems to be all too common at the moment though. What was the last major release that wasn't pushed back?

We seem to have had a lot of players recently who have kids without getting married. -

I used the wall mount package thing that came with it, fixed onto the wall quite easily. It was falt against the wall, but I could have tilted it down slightly, but would have had to pulled it slightly further away from the wall in order to be able to do that. -

I'm in the Tony Gale camp here. I think he's an ok player and valuable member of the squad, but he'll never be good enough to regularly start for us. -

I've had a walmounted tv, only a couple inches off of the wall, probably about 5-5/12 feet up the wall. Not very hard to do. -
Yeah, it is surprising that it didn't get any nominations for that work, my problem with the movie was that it was really only that, but it certainly was well done.

I thought Juno was pretty good, nice little film. Really dsliked 300 and Zodiac though, so probably just very different tastes.
