I posted about Mowbray - "IMO, a rank bad manager. IMO, we are a feckin shambles - so much so, even Coyle would be a better option". If you take it literally, it is contrary, however, the point I was trying to make, by comparing to Coyle, is just how feckin awful I think Mowbray is. I do not think there is that much difference between the two. As for winning money by betting on Barnsley - the subject was raised by Mashed Potatoes who asked how much I'd put on us this time to which I replied I'd backed Barnsley with £25 at about 2/1. Post match, I pointed out at least I had a positive for the night after clearing up almost £50. Can't see anything wrong with that - every poster on here had the opportunity to bet on the match. £50 winnings now on Leeds win at 4/5!

I am not trolling. The point I'm trying to make is we are, IMO, only very marginally better off than when Mowbray 'entered the building' some three and a half years ago. Under Mowbray's management: We got relegated - as he said in Blues Bar in Feb. last year, he was brought in to keep us up but failed IMO, we've played, in the main, awful football - we've no identity Our squad, IMO, is threadbare in key areas, with the odd exception devoid of quality and woefully unbalanced IMO, he's spunked some £20million+ (when wages are added in) up the wall on two non firing strikers - the club's financial position is a mess and this folly has made it even worse We are, IMO, light years away from being automatic promotion contenders and still not seriously contending for a top 6 stop IMO, Coyle was a disaster and had to go - in fact he should never have been appointed. I honestly believe we've had three and a half miserable and wasted years under Mowbray. Just what is the point of this man?!?!

Spot on. An analogy - a false sh@g is a wet dream!
-
For how long and why? Would you ever sack him and under what circumstances?
-
I think the club needs sweeping clean from top to bottom. IMO, Waggott, Cheston, Mowbray, Venus, Lowe, Benson all need bulleting for starters - third raters at best. Can anyone tell me what value they've added to the club?
-
@Chaddyrovers it's not too long ago that you were advocating Mowbray should be given a 5 year deal. Views now? Sack or back?
-
Should never have been appointed. I honestly can't see a single managerial strength. IMO, almost a completely disasterous appointment. We are not much better of than when he arrived.
-
Burnley are now light years ahead of us as a club. IMO, it's a myth that Mowbray's Rovers are a footballing team. IMO, the football, in the main, since Mowbray took over has been dire in the extreme - akin to a Sunday league pub team.
-
Positive for the night, Barnsley have won me almost £50. Been saying it almost since Mowbray was appointed - IMO, a rank bad manager. IMO, we are a feckin shambles - so much so, even Coyle would be a better option.
-
Stuck £25 on Barnsley at about 2/1 after the Wigan shambles.
-
Think Tony's pension plan will be coming along very nicely! I think our squad, in the main, is an unbalanced shambles and we are further way from the 'promised land' than Jeremy Corbyn is from No 10. We need a hungry and innovative coaching team. Think old man Warnock has had more impact at Middlesbrough in 3 days than Mowbray has had all season at Rovers! IMO, we are treading water at very, very best.

Each to his own! Was at the birth of all my kids, however......................... About one in five aren't owing to work commitments (some work situations you simply can't walk away from), being out of the country or simply not wanting to be there!!!
-
Bill Shankly, Brian Clough might have differed 'young man..........'!
-
Might as well scrap the Academy and support teams if Mowbray stays. Just one 'home grown' out on 'the grass'. Goodness knows what the likes (Academy / bought for potential) of Brereton, Carter, Chapman, Davenport and Vale all think.
-
and with the biggest budget and best facilities by a country mile!
-
The lad has shown a bit more since the season started again, however, it would be difficult not to as he was, IMO, absolutely woeful before. Still looks nowhere near a £7million player! However, he should have been given a start against the bottom club as a good performance and a goal or two would have done absolute wonders for his confidence. IMO, abysmal management from Mowbray - no longer surprised about anything this clown does.
-
I hope Barnsley hammer us. Sick and tired of, IMO, Mowbray's clueless selections. Could you imagine Roy Kean selecting Walton and Bennett !?!? Brereton at long, long last begins to show a wee bit of promise and Mowbray drops him to the bench - just how will that help the lad's confidence. I think we desperately need rid of the dinosaurian Mowbray and, IMO, the equally useless Benson, Venus and Lowe. We are going nowhere.
-
We aren't getting to the play offs - let's not kid ourselves. We need to know what a number of alternatives can do. IMO, Walton, Bennett and Gallagher are all cr@p and have forfeited their right to start for Rovers with a series of howlers and abysmal performances. My eleven: Hilton / Nyambe, Lenihan, Tosin, Davenport / Chapman, Travis, Holtby, Downing / Brereton, Armstrong Have Hilton, Davenport, Chapman and Brereton got what it takes? Well let's find out and give them a run of games instead of p!ssing about with the tried and trusted failures.
-
Can see nothing but a Barnsley win tomorrow. Injuries are just part and parcel of the game and, IMO, a ready excuse for Mowbray. IMO, we have no coherent strategy irrespective of player availability and this is all down to, IMO, a dinosaurian manager unable to distinguish between arse and elbow.

Thoughts with you and your family Paul. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

Derby County (A) - Sunday 8th March [3pm KO]

Thank goodness I didn't waste two hours of my life watching that on the 'red button'. Had a text from a friend who is a Derby fan and at the match today. Just couldn't believe how bad we were. There can be absolutely no excuses today. We had extra preparation time and extra rest. Derby also missing Rooney and Lawrence. Think we bottled it. IMO, the bottom line is that Mowbray can take us no further. I honestly do not know what, if any, managerial strengths he has. You are two nil down and he takes off his two biggest signings at some £25million including wages - IMO, what an absolutely terrible indictment of Mowbray's ability when it comes to player trading. -

I can only assume you are p1ssed! I wouldn't trust Mowbray to even run a sweet shop - think they'd all be in the wrong jars! -

Davies and Kalanic were ten times the player Brereton will ever be. -

Absolutely. We are the form team from fifth to tenth. It's now a 10 game season. It's now down to bottle - who really wants it. It's ours to lose. -

Totally agree. Will be eight days since our last game whilst Derby played and lost last night - we should be fresh and raring to go. Nine points from our last six games whilst Derby have just five points - we are the form team. Can only see a Rovers' win.
