That looks like the Perspex strip. Perspex were the sponsors for 6 years in the 80's, I think. [1984-1991]

Just seen it gives the date below the Photo as 1991 against Swindon Town.?

That looks like the Perspex strip. Perspex were the sponsors for 6 years in the 80's, I think. [1984-1991]

I have the Peter White book - 1875 to 1988. Lots of old pictures in there. Most of which from before I was born lol!

The picture must have been messed with, claret on a Rovers shirt. wash your mouth out.

I don't know the guy but I'd like to give a little plug for Stuart at Homes of Football. I've bought a couple of prints from him and his service is top notch - he even threw in some free postcards. I think you can go and visit his studio up in the lakes, will get round to it one day.

The shop in Ambleside is closed, it's a shame, decent day out. Now the Homes of football is in Manchester.
