  1. Past hour
  2. You must imagine Ismael has the patience of a saint if Rhodes won't be taking his job until June 😉 Most of our head coaches don't last much beyond Christmas these days
  3. It would be fickle if I had said previously that RG was ok or a good appointment. Surprisingly, I never did.
  4. By the end of that contract he'll be taking over as head coach on a rolling deal, because nobody else will want it. 😅
  5. Hyam is a bog standard championship CB, whose best qualities are his injury and disciplinary records. He'll be a big loss to us because we're crap.
  6. I don’t think that was Gestede! Seriously though I don’t know, but there’s only been one “director” at Ewood ever since the owners darkened our door.
  7. It would be interesting to know if Rhodes has a one year contract as per the ad and the minimum qualifications stated in it too.
  8. Who was actually in charge? Same question I suspect as who actually interviewed and chose Owen Coyle as manager? Something which has never been answered.
  9. You do you.
  10. My response was specifically at the part of your comment which I highlighted in bold
  11. Well at least you understood the post then. Thank you, hadn’t really known that. Don’t really understand how it relates to Rhodes being appointed.
  12. It was, I posted the advertisement on here in June Here it is https://jobs4football.com/job/loan-manager/ It was also advertised on Rovers website
  13. Nobody, but to compare his adequacy to the role to your own, is tantamount to the pub favourite “my Granma would’ve scored that”
  14. I’ll put it this way. If it were common knowledge we were advertising for one, who on here would have thought ‘I bet Jordan Rhodes would be perfect for that’?
  15. I was under the impression that that it was offer to Lowe, and he turned it down Rhodes is Stuart Jones replacement Stuart Jones had not been managing the academy for over a year before leaving, His previous role managing the academy was taken up by Paul Gray
  16. Could’ve been given to David Lowe? Or Stuart Jones’ replacement.
  17. The job of a loan manager is to source and manage outgoing loans, which they are interested in. not the guys who come here on loan, which we are apparently not particularly interested in anymore It was managed in house by Stuart Jones last season, he left
  18. Which leads me nicely to my next point: Why Rhodes, specifically? Why not literally any ex-Rover? There is nothing Rhodes has done of merit to be ‘an excellent appointment’, even compared to a bog-standard EFL coach such as (for example) a promotion for David Lowe.
  19. And that means we should trust Rudy the bully?
  20. I'm not obsessed, I just like to point out how one eyed a view it was about the pairing .
  21. Today
  22. You can say what you want, but I’d call it fickle. I mean Steve was the guy who 2 managers actively forced their way from. Yes, Rudy was around last summer as a part of the machine, but he truly now is the person who takes utmost responsibility for the football side. If his manager walks away before Christmas, and we’re flopping around mid table or at the bottom, then you will be correct and I will have more rationale for agreeing that he’s on the way to being as much of a twat as Steve Waggott. There is no law against not being convinced or making your mind up by a certain time.
  23. Levy steps down at Spurs. Unexpected.
  24. Not many are arguing with that. But is it ok if we suggest that RG is shit and shouldn't be anywhere near this club?
  25. No, that’s how long we had used car salesman Steve in charge for pal, and he was shit.
