Strange story about Riquelme, who was being mentioned yesterday by some as a potential target...

maybe it is Benni or something, cos he didn't get to play more than for 5 mins or so?? he walked straight off the pitch after the game, looked quite p1ssed off.

He really annoyed me on Sunday, clearly didn't want to come on, didn't move when first asked and then Bowen said please get ready Benni!! At that point he got up mumbled a few things to Roberts I think and then huffed down to the front. Proceeded to walk around the pitch for 5 mins and then walk straight off afterwards. Always been supportive and keen to keep him but if that is a sign of things to come i'd rather he left.

I think Johnson is a genuine injury worry. His knee does have fluid on it, so it is a problem for them.

Yakubu will have to be rushed through to make the game and that is not Moyes's style, so they have trouble.

It's a bit like the Boro game, with factors in your favour.

But the big loss is Nelsen. I saw a Rovers side without him get well battered at Goodison last season, so I understand the concern.

However it is time for big Chris to take on the senior role and also a test of what the cover is like. I take it Ooijer will get the nod, but that is just a guess.

There is a feelgood spill-over from last weekend, so this is a good chance to put a show on for the TV too.

A good result at Everton would suggest this could be a big season.

By the way, i saw the dressing room at Ewood on Tuesday - it still had the main four tactical points on the board, for the players to remember when playing arsenal, which was quite interesting to say the least !

From what I hear a paper has asked him about the story - and he said it wasn't true.

I've got to say it does not put him or the club in a bad light.

It is just an incident that is supposed to have happened and he was the 'victim' - but it is starting to sound like one of those daft ones that goes around.

So there is no point in repeating it.

But it does strike me as strange that so many people have been chasing it all the same.

It's nothing to get worried about...just a daft incident that is supposed to have happened.
