nicko Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Time to let that one go gracefully now nicko. You might want to address that to someone else...

colbert Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I think if rovers web site has got a quote from the player its just about as official as you can get.
nicko Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 looks like Sky have got this wrong again!!!!, Nicko do you know if he has or not? I must have said about four or five times in the last two days that Warnock has NOT asked for a transfer...but he does want to move. Sky were told as much yesterday or they would not have run the story.
ally Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Not sure if anyone has posted this as my computer crashed and cant be (Please do not try and get round the swear filter) to look back but Warnock has denied handing in a transfer request. http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...1365022,00.html Love the picture on the official website too........... Warnock is obviously tempted by the geordies and everton but as nicko quite rightly pointed out he has not submitted a transfer request!
nicko Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 LOL.... "Situations Change" This situation has yet to finish. In the meantime, keep hoping. Love the picture on the official website too........... Warnock is obviously tempted by the geordies and everton but as nicko quite rightly pointed out he has not submitted a transfer request! Everton are not in it - and Newcastle will have to bid a lot of money.
BiggusLaddus Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 McManaman and then Ruddock Is Stig's eye better yet? He could come back to replace Warnock.
roversinmyblood Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Ill, not fully fit, maybe not ready, where will he play? I have a feeling this lad will be as Jansen was when he first joined, a little greedy! He will need nurturing. I think so too, he will also need to do a lot of work on upper body strength otherwise he will be on his backside all the time like Jansen was when he first arrived.
colbert Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Sky were told as much yesterday or they would not have run the story. If the word is out that he wants to move, regardless on wether he hands in a transfer request , its good as one me thinks
gazsimm Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I must have said about four or five times in the last two days that Warnock has NOT asked for a transfer...but he does want to move. Sky were told as much yesterday or they would not have run the story. why the hell have sky then said he has handed in a transfer request when it's not true, are they trying to unsettle our players or something.
wandel77 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I think that we should go for Lars Jacobsen, he is free agent and a Danish international. He is RB and very keen to go forward.
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Everton are not in it That might well be the case Nicko, but there was that link in the media about Everton sniffing around. Warnock if i recall is a big everton fan as are his family, perhaps he feels the interest is there? though that was a while back and Moyes denied it.
Ewood and I Would Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Nicko some questions on Andrews which I know you’re going to take as some kind of insult to your story but I hope the more discerning visitors to this site would like to know as well. If the interest in Andrews is still live then why…. 1) …did MK Dons remove him from their transfer list and make such a positive statement about it? 2) …did he play last night, cup tying him and only serving to hurt his sales value? 3) …was he made captain last night? 4) …has this not been done already as you told us about this ages ago. If we wanted him that badly Again I will reiterate I am not having a pop; I would actually be interested in hearing your opinion because this whole Andrews thing is one of the major factors of ill feeling towards Ince and apart from the odd few lines here and there none of the other major news outlets have put that much emphasis on it.
BiggusLaddus Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Not sure if anyone has posted this as my computer crashed and cant be (Please do not try and get round the swear filter) to look back but Warnock has denied handing in a transfer request. http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...1365022,00.html Of course he hasn't, he wants his 'loyalty' bonus.
Bobby G Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Andrews first and Fowler second. Both are no no's.
Valois Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I wonder if Sky Sports will release an announcement that warnock has in fact not handed in a transfer request, despite their reports yesterday that he had. Me thinks not.
modes98 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I think if rovers web site has got a quote from the player its just about as official as you can get. The only thing that bugs me about that statement is the one liner. There was no because i am happy here at the club and am fully behind Ince, etc. It was just I haven't handed in a request.
Bazrakats Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Right so it looks like we wont sign anyone or im sure Nicko would have informed us ( not counting Fowler cause we all new he would sign ) So we go into the Everton game with the spine of are team pretty much the same as last year. I think were gonna suprise a lot of people come saturday. By the way paddy power have the Chile man as 10-1 last goalscorer. I will be betting on DRAW/BLACKBURN at 6-1
Ewood and I Would Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I wonder if Sky Sports will release an announcement that warnock has in fact not handed in a transfer request, despite their reports yesterday that he had. Me thinks not. Doubt it, remember what the "respectable" BBC did last year with Benni? Claimed that their reporters (5 Live) had a scoop on him not turning up for training. Then, when pictures of him doing so were uploaded to the offical site their story miraculously changed to "Blackburn deny reports" and suddenly "those reports" weren't being attributed to Five Live anymore. People in journalism will never admit they're wrong
cruz Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Hearsay and conjecture is what make this topic tick. Nobody remembers the myriad of things Nicko gets off target
T4E Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 You're joking aren't you? Thats all some people remember!
mark1875 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Of course he wants to leave. Why do you think the story won't go away? Do you not think he and his agent have been engineering the move all along? Why has nobody from the club come out and denied that he has asked to leave? It seems obvious to me. But I think Ince should make a firm stance and not grant his wish. Somebody needs to be showing who is boss right now. as i stated ur missing the point - and now u may get it bcos stephen warnock is on the official site saying the reports r rubbish and he hasnt requested a transfer?
Ewood and I Would Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Hearsay and conjecture is what make this topic tick. Nobody remembers the myriad of things Nicko gets off target I do....
BiggusLaddus Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Hearsay and conjecture is what make this topic tick. Nobody remembers the myriad of things Nicko gets off target Yes they do. I'm sure some of our esteemed members keep a scrapbook of Nicko's stories to keep as sniping ammunition. as i stated ur missing the point - and now u may get it bcos stephen warnock is on the official site saying the reports r rubbish and he hasnt requested a transfer? Formally.
