I can get the fixtures but crashes when I try to check the league table.

It's probably for the best.

I e-mailed the makers of the app a couple of weeks ago, and they said it's an iOS5 issue. They are currently working on an update.

Same here after opening first item if I then try to switch to another it closes down.

As others have said it's been down since iOS5. Hopefully an update will fix it soon.
