A look back at the career of a true Rovers legend & an interview with his daughter, Natalie Parkes-Thompson about growing up in a footballing household.

We pay tribute to Tony Parkes, player, coach, caretaker manager and an all-round Rovers legend in the truest sense of the word. We recall the highs and some of the lows of Tony’s career & hear from Natalie Parkes-Thompson, Tony's daughter as to how they have each coped with lockdown.

Good podcast again. I wish Tony and all his family all the best.

Nice to hear again Only One J Henry's version of By Gum We'll Make It a Day. I love this slow version. This together with the Wild Rover as played at Ewood should be adopted forever as Rovers' themes.
