One thing about these interviews with people who predominantly have worked behind the scenes of the main stage is that when they come to the fore, as we saw with David Lowe, is that they are so intrinsic with the club, because they don't have that media focus all the time, no weekly interviews etc, everything they say is from the soul, about the Club.

Does somewhat warm the heart knowing there are still people left in some capacity still wanting the best for our club. 

I'd actually like him as the manager although I don't think that's what he wants. To know that someone on the touchline values his role and is there to compete weekly for the love of the badge.

This was the best interview I've seen in a while come out the club since Lowes last win

I thought he was under valued as a player here. He never gave less than 100% and he was skilful with it. He’d be one of the first names on the team sheet if he was playing today.

He represents the values I always associated with the old Rovers.

But I can't help wondering what the hell he must be thinking, when shysters like Gestede keep walking through the door!

We know what he's thinking anyone who loves the club must know

He has shown terrific humility in that interview, a welcome change from the previous incumbent.

He comes across as a really decent person and the type of coach players would want to play for.

If he doesn't get the job I think it's imperative he is kept on. His understanding of the local area and people is an absolute asset.
