  1. 100% agree, absolutely puzzling to think that they must sit round a table and agree the ticket prices and marketing etc will be in any way positive and NOT stop the steady decline of our fanbase. Swaggot n co make my blood boil.
  2. Of course it does, at a time when not many realised how poor Venkys were going to be!! I, and a lot of our fans would have thought at the time Sam was booted a top manager would replace him. Happy days we move on... Then Steve Kean steps forward etc. In HINDSIGHT had Sam been replaced with a competent manager like we all hoped for, the place would be a lot rosier. I'm struggling to understand your failure to understand this fella?
  3. you're now stating the obvious, I think every Rovers fan knows this, however you're not sticking to the original post, instead using patronising posts to serve your own need. Stick to the point, just ask for help if you're struggling with this?
  4. Oh it was definitely hindsight, had we employed a Guardiola type etc and competed for Europe no one would have batted an eye lid.
  5. 51:49 is a majority, any fans at that time would surely not have appreciated the football on offer from Sam.
  6. Like I said previously, hindsight is a wonderful thing, your sarcasm doesn't alter the fact Sam's hoofball was awful to watch.
  7. Your argument failed instantly when you compared him to Mowbray. Completely different playing field. Sam's football was awful to watch.
  8. Not for me, I used to feel sorry for Bolton fans watching the tripe he had them playing. I like to watch decent attacking football, not the hoofball he had us playing. Most fans were happy when he got the boot not knowing at the time what was to come. Hindsight's a wonderful thing heh?
  9. However, his football was absolutely dire, imo it wasn't sacking him that was the problem it's who replaced him.
  10. Sure Harvey Elliott was only 17 when we loaned him from Liverpool. If you're good enough you're old enough.
  11. Out if interest, does anyone know how many we've shifted? Swaggot is a disgrace, has been throughout his tenure.
  12. Is that still your opinion?
  13. We won 4-1 there on the opening of the stadium when it had no name. I was there..
  14. I presume that was aimed at me? I never mentioned contracts, and I take it you've deleted my post what ever happened to freedom of speech pal?
  15. Current would make us the no 1 team based on the past dozen games.
  16. Cardiff have the worst home record in the Championship, based on that, this on paper should be a winnable game. The early start could prove beneficial if we can get the 3 points as this would put a little pressure on teams around us in the league. Cardiff 0 2 Rovers Crowd: 0
  17. That's clearly your opinion which I doubt isn't shared by the majority if our fanbase/fairweather fans etc.. Of course they go hand in hand..
  18. Not at all pal, on the contrary it's you who's precious I believe, seems you couldn't wait to post panic station stuff after witnessing a frustrating referee who tried his best to ruin the game, played on an awful pitch which was not far behind the pne game. That was a very drab affair (your post) which is why I said 'poor post' because I think you where wrong. You do realise this is a message board don't you, folk are allowed to respond and offer their own opinions without being told they're 'precious' Chin up lad, Happy New Year..
  19. 'Because' no sooner do Rovers not carry on their incredible 6 game winning streak, or score today when we've averaged over 2 goals per game at Ewood, they also continue to be the Championships 2nd highest scorers and you post asking for a new striker? Wow.....
  20. Wow, such a poor post from Windy.
