  1. This is exactly the same as Preston, they scored with their first attack, we don't look like scoring.
  2. F*ck me, if Mowbray doesn't drop Armstrong right on Ashley Williams then it just confirms his lack of brains. He turns like the titanic.
  3. A league 1 manager, picking league 1 players, bringing us league 1 football. It's that simple.
  4. This man needs to go, seriously. We are going down next season 100%
  5. I don't think Elliott even knows, he's like Mowbray's pet dog getting let off the lead at the park. "Gwan Benno, have a run around boy".
  6. Rothwell is wasted here on the left. Needs to get in between their 2 banks of 4. Same with Armstrong, needs to be more central.
  7. 1-0 Stoke, good strike. First thing we do after conceding is... Launch it forwards. There is no plan or method in this side.
  8. Really? I just seen him chase Joe Allen for about 40 yards and put it out of play.
  9. We look so much more dangerous with Rothwell in the team.
  10. ANYTHING to play Bennett. I bet Mowbray has a panic attack when thinking of an 11 without him.
  11. Keeper should be a big priority, a good centre half, a leader in centre mid and a CF... So pretty much the spine for our spineless team.
  12. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17551818.rothwell-ahead-of-chapman-in-rovers-pecking-order-mowbray/ More nonsense. Why can you only play on or the other? The more experienced players he speaks of are sh*te. If he's not reliant on his signings to win him games when his current crop of crap aren't winning games then what's the point? If Chapman is behind Rothwell who doesn't play than just speaks volumes about picking players like Bennett or Conway and his intentions going forwards. I don't know what the plan is going forwards with TM but it certainly doesn't appear to be playing to our strengths.
  13. Dropping Benno? You'd give Tony a heart attack.
  14. “I know the run we’ve been on is frustrating and disappointing, but to go to Aston Villa and perform how we did for long spells was a good statement. Particularly after that last 25 minutes, we have to believe we can compete with anyone in the division." Erm.... You mean when Joe Rothwell was on the pitch? You mean when we actually had to go out and attack a team we looked good. How about maybe starting a game like that Tony? The bloke is beyond frustrating these days, I really don't understand his thinking on most things anymore and I'm not sure he even knows either...
  15. I don't think I am, I'm simply saying what I'm seeing. I'd agree that he needs to add goals but goals will only come of he actually gets minutes on the pitch.
  16. Completely disagree, every time he plays he brings the best out of Dack allowing him to be free'd up, we play through the midfield instead of missing it out, he completely changes the way play. He's the type of player you build a midfield around. To call him a squad player in the same way as garbage such as Smallwood, Bennett, Williams is bloody mental. He's by a long way the best technical footballer we have at the club. Yes, at times he's seemingly tried to hard but who can blame him for trying to make an impression? I've watched him on numerous occasions create more in 15 minute appearances than most of the useless trash we have wandering around on a pitch. It's a complete farce how the manager has handled this one and just demonstrates an alarming ability to see obvious talent, especially as he coaches him every day.
  17. Looking at the bigger picture I completely agree but many managers have been to blame for not getting the best out of what they have at Rovers, Bowyer being one and now Mowbray.
  18. Wish this poll said "realistically" because as much as I'd want Jokanovic, I don't think he would come to Ewood. I think with Hughes stock being so low that is probably the best and most realistic choice so far.
  19. That's not a good enough reason to keep employing someone who (at the moment at least) looks nailed on to lead us to a second relegation. Yes, he's a nicer bloke and better manager than the jokers we've had in recent history but it's not about that, it's about if he's simply good enough to take us forwards. Based on our last 30 points return, how anyone can conclude that he is almost borders on delusional, or just blind faithful at least. I don't think you will find any of us that won't agree that he's a nice fella and has done a good job getting us promoted but football is about the nowand he's very much demonstrating that he's not up to the job, much like the favourites he's been picking week in week out for most of the season.
