  1. Is it not your club? By "saving" I mean it's not a bottomless pit, Venky's decision making is unfathomable and the debt is mounting year after year. If we could get a good manager in who could offset some of that debt with success then I don't care where he came from.
  2. Not really but stranger things have happened. It's the weakest this league has ever been since we've been in it. If Mowbray was ever going to do it it'd be this year. Obviously I'd prefer someone more capable in charge.
  3. It's a case of swallow your pride to save your club.
  4. What if we've got a very good chance of the play offs?
  5. Blimey, that last injury. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/phil-jones/verletzungen/spieler/117996
  6. I think that's fine. It's been addressed, there's an apology and they are clearly in agreement that it was inappropriate. The players in question could do worse than come forward and say it was a mistake, sorry if I contributed to the distress of such a heavy loss, etc. Disappointing if they don't now the club has acknowledged it.
  7. Get him back in the dugout! He's two years younger than Warnock.
  8. If Jones came back I'd start to believe that good things can still happen at Rovers. An amazing player for us during a torrid time and his departure was part of the reason we went down. Would be fantastic if he could help get us back up. Be a bit like when Big Col came back from Manchester.
  9. Who wants to be a millionaire eh Steve?
  10. Because according to some Mowbray isn't on much at Rovers 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  11. I don't care about him keeping us up, all I care about is getting the debt paid off making the club more desirable to new ownership. If the debt keeps mounting up and Venkys decide they are fed up with their "baby" then what then?
  12. Wharton is a brilliant player. Not quite match fit perhaps today but will end up being our best defender.
  13. We miss the boat again.
  14. Farke or Wilder could finish the job.
  15. But a lot of people act as if Mowbray has never been sacked before. I’m sure for most neutrals he’d be bottom of the pile.
  16. Actual wingers and a centre forward. Two actual full backs. I’m not sure why Mowbray is so resistant to using players in their best position when it obviously works.
  17. Similarly if you can't look at the bigger picture, you're a bit of a gullible sausage and deserve all the disappointment coming your way. I won't be fooled especially after Wednesday. There's certainly no shame in enjoying the win but having zero faith in the manager at this point. We've been here how many times? However what I do have faith in is that the league is so weak that there is a chance we could sneak into the play offs, so Mowbray's shortcomings may be offset from the other duffers in this league. We need to start beating the teams around us.
  18. I'm not the one forgetting anything, we lost 7-0 days ago. Any manager would feel pressure after that.
  19. Good win but nothing will change, anything could happen against Bristol. I'd usually be ecstatic to get in the play off zone but been bitten too many times.
  20. Just proves that whenever Mowbray is feeling the pressure he stops pissing about and gets a result. Be great if we had owners who put him under the kind of pressure a football manager would normally have.
  21. That's got to be the blandest team I've ever seen turn out for Rovers.
  22. Mowbray has always treated Rovers like a football management sim.
