Mark Hughes' Rovers from 2004-08 was easily my personal favourite Rovers era. Frequent semi-finals, top half finishes, beating and frightening big teams so badly they called us dirty, which they werent wrong - we were bottom of the disciplinary table for a few years. Samba, Nelsen, Santa Cruz, Bentley, McCarthy, Savage, Dunny, Tugay, Bellamy... big players. Those were the days.

He's already starting to hit form for our U23. Cant wait!

Positives from this game. - Rothwell needs to start, at least he tries to make things happen. A few good runs today, has pace, one assist. Best Rovers player on the pitch. - Buckley looks promising and composed in midfield in the short cameo. Need to buff up though. - Travis certainly has the energy, puts himself to win balls back but also guilty of stray passes. Definitely ahead of Smallwood and Evans - Conway still looks like he can offer something from the bench

Lets forget about defending and attack. Our defence is hopeless anyway.

Rothwell, so much promise so little end product. Unless when he's on the ball, u sense excitement but ultimately nothing comes out of it.

Not his fault, the defending or the lack of marking of Nuhiu is shocking.

Everyone at the stadium is happy with Mowbray cos he's doing a good job at the moment. We are still meeting our target of staying in this league. So no booing.

Mowbray plays his team based on our opposition. Somehow he feels he can outcounter and outwit other teams who play to their own strength.

First time going into a game expecting a thrashing because our defence is so bad, everyone's gonna get sucked in defending, Dack's gonna come deep to even have a touch of the ball, Graham will be probably be isolated up front. Tony will spend the next few days worrying about PNE instead of focusing on ourselves. Hard to be positive but prove us wrong, Rovers!

Either Bennett is injured, or he's just trying to add on 30 seconds.

Pet players like Bennett, Smallwood will consistently find themselves playing even if they are shite. Tony is a nice guy, thanks for bringing us back to the Championship, but i dont see him as the man to bring us further. His fetish of playing players not in their natural positions irks me.

But Tony will be proud he won MOTM for January.

Every week we seem to perform worse than the week before. So hard to watch us play. Long balls after long balls to no one up front. Graham cant win them all. Where's the old Dack who can make things happen? He seems so terribly off form in the past month.
