  1. If this is Conway's last game for us, i hope he gets to captain the team out and get a standing ovation in the 60th min when he gets subbed out for Butterworth or Chapman. Good and honest pro for us.
  2. My MOTM - Derrick Williams. Most improved player in the last 5-6 games. Bell slightly better than usual tonight. Travis great goal but did gave away a few balls in dangerous situations Chapman looked lively when he's on.
  3. BB has done well since coming on.
  4. Bennett gave away 2 balls in 30 seconds.
  5. Hope TM takes note of how a Championship/promoted team should be playing and fine tune this Rovers squad over the summer with the right players. Norwich are so fast as releasing the ball, getting players into dangerous areas, and looks threatening with every attack. We seems to be slower in every department.
  6. Williams has been very good so far. Bennett, as always, shit at RB.
  7. Travis with a long range special!
  8. Excited about the Norwich game. Playing against a potential Championship champion. Norwich will most likely will secure their Premiership status. Will be good motivation for our boys if we have any intentions next season to mount any playoff hopes. Lets hope we can give it a good game.
  9. Williams and Lenihan looking solid. Nyambe decent. Bell very one-dimensional, one trick pony. you know he's gonna cross with his left foot, pass with his left foot, tackle with his left foot, eat with his left foot. Kudos to Brereton for finally getting his first goal. Good buildup. Travis solid energetic engine MOTM so far.
  10. Mowbray (if he's still here next season), he needs to sort out the left back problem. Both Williams and Bell has been horrible there all season. Williams looked so much a proper player at CB, alongside Lenihan.
  11. Hope we see Chapman, Davenport sooner! And oh Bereton, how is he 7mil, let alone 700k. His control is atrocious, no balance, no football brain at all.
  12. WIlliams and Lenihan have looked solid for the first half. Credit to Williams, looks so much better at CB. Bell on the other hand is horrible. This fella has no right foot, gave away so many balls, only passes back. And Rothwell, WHAT A GOAL.
  13. I've stopped reading his interviews and post-match reports. Its the same old boring shit from this dinosaur of a manager. Nice bloke and thanks for steadying the ship last year and getting us promoted. Not the man to take us forward, i'm afraid.
  14. No one seems to want to work with Rothwell in midfield to try to find a way through and attack Stoke. All just ball watching and waiting for him to dribble the Stoke defence. So frustrating.
  15. I thought he did decent considering his fitness level and has been a squad player so far. Came closest to scoring in the first half, put in a few tackles, got back to defend too. I thought he's right footed, but towards the end of the game, he didnt put in crosses with his right, and choose to cut in to cross with his left, and none found any Rovers head. So desperately need a Chapman on the right. But Conway's unlikely to start every game. Played better than Dack and Mr Fist Pump today imo. But Bennett will probably still start next game cos he can run and run and is a captain material (sounds familiar?)
  16. How its 1nil i dunno. We should be at least a few goals down.
  17. Mark Hughes' Rovers from 2004-08 was easily my personal favourite Rovers era. Frequent semi-finals, top half finishes, beating and frightening big teams so badly they called us dirty, which they werent wrong - we were bottom of the disciplinary table for a few years. Samba, Nelsen, Santa Cruz, Bentley, McCarthy, Savage, Dunny, Tugay, Bellamy... big players. Those were the days.
  18. He's already starting to hit form for our U23. Cant wait!
  19. Positives from this game. - Rothwell needs to start, at least he tries to make things happen. A few good runs today, has pace, one assist. Best Rovers player on the pitch. - Buckley looks promising and composed in midfield in the short cameo. Need to buff up though. - Travis certainly has the energy, puts himself to win balls back but also guilty of stray passes. Definitely ahead of Smallwood and Evans - Conway still looks like he can offer something from the bench
