Tough one, but i will pick Bellamy over Nelsen.
Third will be Reid. He's becoming better.
Why i didnt pick MGP:- He's still an exciting player and a vital player. But he needs to push himself in every game he plays. Some games he just fizzles out easily while some games he explodes into life. Needs to be consistent.
We need 11, according to Hughes, to reach Rovers' target for the last hurdle of games.
I'm happy as long as we can pull away from 7th place as soon as possible.
It has been coming all along. Rovers must hang on till half time. Hopefully Hughes will give his mouthful to the players to realise the importance of getting 3 points today! Esp so after Spurs got theirs.
I was watching Reid on tv yesterday, after we conceded the goal, there were a few times when the camera followed Reid, and he was there cheering the team up "come on", urging the players to chase and run. We need to keep this type of player!
I will rather Savage keeps his winning goal for the game against Birmingham.
Anyway, Wigan are pretty strong away, and Rovers are also strong at home. A possibly entertaining 3-2 win for Rovers.
Crap game today. Only Friedel, Nelsen and Reid stood out. The rest has an average game. Dickov looks off, so does Tugay.
Lucky 3 points for us. A couple of penalty appeals against us. Thanks God they werent given.
We are up to 5th!
It seems not so long ago that we are checking results on teams like Fulham, Birmingham, Portsmouth etc.. hoping that their results will go our way so as to push us higher in the bottom half of the table.
But now we are looking at the results of bigger teams like Pool, Arsenal and Spurs.
Im rooting for Fulham to win their first away win of the season later! Correct me if im wrong, Fulham are currently the only team in all divisions in England not to win a single away game yet.
For us to finish 4th, we must play out of our skins and have Lady Luck shining on us for the remaining of our games. Champions League spot will be a massive bonus but I'm happy to just qualify for UEFA Cup.
