We met Mark and his wife as they were leaving Ewood after the last game Mark played in for Rovers. Mark seemed very sorry to be leaving and said he would have liked to stay on. Somehow, I just felt he would be back. As soon as Souness took himself off to Newcastle I had no doubt that the new Manager would be Mr Mark Hughes and that he would be a much loved success.

No, groo. I remember the Spurs one well, Carr had just upended someone (was it Vrati himself?) and got away with it and it was so sweet to see Vrati's goal go in off of Carr's backside of all places! The thought of that goal still cheers me up!
