I don't remember seeing Gally's performance at Charlton either, although I was watching the match on tv. I do remember him in the wall jumping out of the way as the ball flew past him into the net though As for Matteo, please don't. I remember several matches pre Hughes (and a couple post Hughes) in which he was a complete embarrassment. He's a really nice guy but ....................

Regarding the Fulham players, I wondered how Football First would manage to find an hour of play without any of them being filmed rolling about on the ground, and I was right, they couldn't .

One thing to say and I'll say it again

It will happen sooner or later, PB. Enough is enough; no reason why a fan or group of fans shouldn't take the initiative and start producing some Rovers stuff to sell. You might even get some local shops to take some of the goods. I was in ASDA at Middlebrook recently, they've a whole section full of Wanderer's stuff.

Four coaches of fans set off from Ewood at 4.30am on Thursday morning, making good time at first but then caught up with traffic problems at the roadworks near Luton. We made the ferry for the 12.15am crossing and made the most of the facilities on board although the sea was a little choppy. Anticipated travel time from Calais to Rotterdam was not achieved as traffic around the Antwerp area was very bad and it took us longer than expected but the stadium came into view with a little time to spare. The driver managed to alert the police escort which was having a nap at some traffic lights and we swept into the stadium area with little interest from anyone. Mr Roversmum and I joined the Taylors as Mr Roversmum was in his wheelchair and we needed to get to the disabled entrance. Communication had broken down slightly here and we made our way somewhat nervously through crowds of Feyenoord supporters. We found the entrance and followed directions which turned out to be wrong and we ended up at a dead end with the disabled area and our supporters in view but not accessible. Eventually we were rescued by a very pleasant Feyenoord Steward who kept an eye on us for the rest of the match. We joined half a dozen Feyenoord supporters in the area and had a reasonably good view of the stadium - lower right hand corner in MortenMagician's picture http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/2987/img5187mp2.jpg. The Feyenoord supporters we encountered were very friendly, extremely passionate about their team. The match went by in a flash, we were very relieved and pleased to find Rovers had now qualified for the next stage. At the end of the game the Feyenoord supporters quickly vacated the stadium leaving the Rovers supporters waiting for the all clear which did not come for some time and enabled us to cheer the players again when they came out to warm down. To the delight of the crowd Robbie threw his shirt to them. We were eventually allowed outside to the fenced area and released to find the coaches. The senior stewards who helped us were extremely pleasant and polite and went out of their way to help us. Settled back on the coaches the police escorted us for a short distance and we then made for Calais stopping at a shop which the drivers had persuaded to open especially for us to purchase some duty free items. Unfortunately being held back at the stadium we knew would cause us to miss the originally booked 3.15am ferry but on arrival at the port worse was to come. Due to the bad weather ferries had been cancelled and we had to wait until the morning when the weather had calmed down. We eventually arrived back in England to a mixture of cloud and sunshine. The coaches did not all use the same route this time, ours preferring the M25/M40/42/M6 and we stopped for 45 minutes at Stafford Services round about 1.15pm. We arrived back at Ewood just before 4pm tired but in good spirits, and popped into SportsWorld on the way home to get our 2007 Rovers Calendars. Our coach was very comfortable and we were entertained by DVDs of 'Only Fools and Horses'; Les Dawson; Season's goals 2004/5; Rovers vs Wisla and Peter Kay; and boosted by Pauline's hot drinks (thank you, Pauline). A great experience, can't wait to go again. Edit: just been reading about some of you who had problems getting seats etc. That was bad. I was very impressed and proud of Rovers Supporters - great singing.

Any instructions for disabled supporters? We're going on the official coach but Mr Roversmum will not be able to cope with distance or many steps. He wants to take his disabled scooter but would the wheelchair be better -although I won't be able to push it myself.
