  1. He didn't look too cross to me, and motioned to the bench that he was going straight down the tunnel on his way.
  2. Still think it's strange how when there were no drummers for a game last season there was absolutely no atmosphere at all.........
  3. Can we just go back to talking about Benni McCarthy, the player? Please?
  4. We met Mark and his wife as they were leaving Ewood after the last game Mark played in for Rovers. Mark seemed very sorry to be leaving and said he would have liked to stay on. Somehow, I just felt he would be back. As soon as Souness took himself off to Newcastle I had no doubt that the new Manager would be Mr Mark Hughes and that he would be a much loved success.
  5. Wondered if it might be! Not yours then Have you sent a photo to Robbie?
  6. They keep posting controversial headlines and write a load of rubbish
  7. Saw him coming in at the MyPa match. Looked very smart and cheerful. Apparently he's back in full training very soon I read somewhere. Going to be eased in very gently. Wouldn't he have loved to play in yesterday's match!
  8. Reserves are in action Monday 3rd September 7pm at Ewood Park against Wigan Reserves. First League match of the season. Get along and support them
  9. I'm off to the club with some flowers later today. Jack, you are a legend. A wonderful, wonderful man. We miss you and always will. God rest your soul.
  10. The shed does look particularly dreadful in that clip though......
  11. All good learning for Benni, ready for when we play them and give them another trouncing
  12. From his profile on the official site:
  13. Thanks, Andy. Best of luck with your new club (tho' not when playing the mighty Rovers).
  14. No, groo. I remember the Spurs one well, Carr had just upended someone (was it Vrati himself?) and got away with it and it was so sweet to see Vrati's goal go in off of Carr's backside of all places! The thought of that goal still cheers me up! The Bolton one was after Nolan had scored an early goal if I remember and Vrati shot from over by the Riverside and celebrated with the fans there. found the match report here with pic of the lad celebrating date 10th January 2004.
  15. Me too, Roar! At the very least they could have kept him on to improve the catering....... Stowell: I liked Vrati too, remember that cracking goal he scored against Bolton?
  16. Yes. It started in the middle of last winter (?), eased a bit at the beginning of May and has just started up in full flow again.....
  17. I wanted to get one as well. Ah, found it here!. Love the reviews! Didn't Amo live near Brockhall? He said in his Autobiography that he wanted to go back to Italy to be with his parents as they got older. He obviously pops back here now and again - I remember him doing the half time draw not too long ago.
  18. Vratti's just signed for Bayer Leverkusen I think. I'll try and find the link. Edit: here we are Also: Lorenzo Amoruso: restaurant owner in his home town of Bari, Italy
  19. I wish MH would tell him to shut it and get on with his holidays. He'll be back at Brockhall along with the rest come a week Monday.
