Mistakes happen, I make them at work, we probably all do, I've never worked at a football club, and can imagine transfer deadline is manic. This is not new to rovers, we were cocking transfers up when Shaw was here, same secretary. Those who know him says he is a stickler for attention to detail, but taking away the 3 deals in the last 18 months, we've had these things happen previously, so obviously not that into the detail -

Now the Mcguire case has been heard, I will now share the chain of events confirmed by four different sources who were ALL in the building on Transfer deadline day. I will also dispel some myths and bollocks which has spun around the net. GB Spoke with Orlando over a period of a few weeks regarding his interest in Mcguire (DOF Identifies players, his role) Orlando had cash bids from Sheff Wednesday and GB Indicated that the club would be willing to buy the player for £5-7 Million including add on, however this was not an offer and it would have to go through the correct channels at the club, as it was subject to due diligence, funds and negotiation by those who do the money side (GB Does not negotiate contracts or fees). The deal being pulled mid flight is complete fabrication, Rovers had not progressed to a formal offer, hence he ended up in Sheffield and not Blackburn. HIs agent negotiated with Orlando to have him in England as there was firm interest from two clubs possibly a third. Following due diligence, which included using overseas data analysis, the clubs wide scouting network, it was clear that Mcguire had just seven months ago been playing college football, (The equivalent of turning out at pleasington on a Sunday). He was at nearly 23 a late rookie breakout last season in the MLS, Which in all fairness is a not the highest standard. GB Wanted the player, so the club negotiated a "Try before you buy" offer, instead of spunking millions at a relatively unknown quantity. Orlando was happy with this, so the player headed to Blackburn. All formalities were done by between 8pm and 9pm and the paperwork uploaded. All Seniors were in the building SW, GB, MC and IS. The club opted to wait to announce the deal and ordered curry in to celebrate what they deemed a successful window. A sweep was done around the office a number of times with all those involved to ensure everything had been dotted and crossed. GB and IS Assured everyone this was the case, please note only the secretary can upload to the portal and press send. No one left the office and the deal was announced. At around 11.04 one of the admin girls who I shall not name, told the CEO That it had not been sent. Of course at this point complete devastation for a very large team at Ewood who had put a lot of effort into transfer deadline day. Only one person could send this, and everyone else had done their part, that person stated it had gone, to all the senior team and those who play a supporting role. Th fault of this lies solely with the secretary. The background noise of transfers being cancelled mid-flight just did not happen. Adam Wharton's deal was done Wednesday and had no baring on this fiasco. The club were hoping time stamps of uploads would get leniency from the EFL, But deep down knew this lad been badly let down and it was never going to end well. We have huge sticks and bombs to hit certain people, but truth be told this is one person, who has royally fooooooked it up for everyone. -

Thanks mate, I wont always get it right, but I have always tried to stand up for those supporters who share common views. I have many faults, being outspoken is one of them. As an independent supporter, rather than a group representative I have found far more freedom to push the barriers further.- 9617 replies

Sorry all, I've not posted and I feel all the frustration, breathe it with you and I'm sorry. The last 72 hours have been crazy, From being added to protests groups on whatsapp/Facebook and request via PM to get involved (My phone number everywhere and getting crack pot texts) I engaged with Steve Waggott, and India the day after the transfer window, It did not smell too nice, and I wanted answers, just like you want answers, just like everyone wants answers. India ignored me, and Waggott came back to me and agreed to have a meeting. In the meantime protests threads popping up all over the internet, and I'm still somewhat unsure who is leading the protest, because unless its organic someone needs to take responsibility and the legal implications that come with it. Seen lots of idea's and awaiting the systematic plan of attack. (Given my experience in this field, and knowing what it could cost you, be that your job or indeed your freedom, then I have to take a holistic view of all options which in fairness are either in their infancy, or there is 10 groups doing different things.) Monday I attended a family funeral , but was willing to meet Waggott after the funeral as this was important, I wanted to get my points across swiftly and in no certain terms. Eventually we agreed on Tuesday as a "Safe space" conversation. WHY You all ask? Well to draw the lines in the sand for rules of engagement. Prior to this meeting i had a message from Josh asking if I'd been invited to meeting a Brockhall by Duncan, I said no, and was informed he be in touch. I then had a discussion with Waggott, and made it perfectly clear the balloon has popped. I told him he had heard the crowd at the weekend and that was not even 5% at how far supporters can take it. I explained the PR Was shocking , every day its another balls up, and each day the club remains silent, that a snow ball becomes a snowman. He was told Suhail hiding in the shadows is no longer acceptable and unless he comes out, then he will be hounded out, like the many the supporters have successfully sent on their merry way. We discussed the Maguire Fiasco, and there is some legal implications here, which include employment law, and contract law. You need to appreciate that due to this, I have to park this. What I can say, its been reported in the press we did not press the send. This is 100% factual, and there is a number of broken people. Please understand, I just don't have unlimited funds for a personal lawsuit!!!! 1 Win in 11 was discussed, and regardless of likeability, a team is judged on results, and we aint getting them. If there was not background noise regarding funds and messed up transfers, the fans would be looking at results as the immediate threat to this club. I stated we have division of where the fault lies in the supporter base, which includes Him, Venkys, Broughton and the Manager. However the anger right now is heading up his garden path, and again the Raos. I stated Protest are coming, these can't be stopped, be that organic, or organised, the balance has tipped. I stated the clubs actions in the coming days will very much set the mood for the foreseeable. I said a divided club internally wont last two minutes once the fans dig their teeth in. I was later asked if I would attend a meeting with the senior players council today. I asked what the purpose was? what's the agenda? what's the end game? I will be honest, i never really got answers and thought this is short notice. I weighed up the pro's and cons. If we don't attend, will this be used as an opportunity to state we offered an olive branch to have open dialogue and the fans dismissed it? I know how the media works, how things can be twisted, and how they can become your enemy if your not seen to be playing the right way. We saw during the Kean era, it was massively portrayed it was the supporters fault. Even our own supporters turned on the protest and it was a toxic environment for everyone, and certainly an environment which at times were scary. Typical examples: 1. My wife Laura was holding my daughter at Ipswich away whilst also 4 months pregnant. Our own supporters, came across knocked the my daughter out her arms and punched my wife to the ground. 2. I was woke up by a phone call, and told to look out the window, i had 2 guys outside with Petrol cans, 48 hours earlier I'd received threats that my house would be burnt down with my children in it. 3. I was assaulted at Wigan away. 4. I was informed by the club they had found payments to hoodlums who were known to me as people who had issued threats. 5. I received phone calls, telling me to walk away or I would disappear. I never wavered, I piled all my money into finding the truth, come rain or shine despite some awful things being said about me, I stood by those I promised to represent with everything I had to give. Anyway moving on - Josh and I had a chat regarding the meeting and neither of us were keen, especially with no agenda, but we knew, we'd not sit in silence and would give it a whirl. Some supporter groups, supporters declined to attend. This morning I was awaken by my wife in the early hours, I was having an awful attack, and knowing I was in hospital this morning, we knew taking my medication would mean they could not do the test, which I've been waiting for. She tried all sorts as my Oxegen levels dropped to 83 and rather than speed up, my heart rate went to 27. I dunno how she managed it, but I'm here typing., I got off for my appointment this morning, did my two hour test, and was informed the meeting time had changed, it had been brought forwards. At this point I knew just Josh , Duncan and I were going and not a lot more to be honest. We arrived, went to the back room, Mike G Was there , and then more filtered in. Sorry I can't remember everyone's name. The players came in, and I did state that i'm surprised they got 5 players who we actually own, as an ice breaker which the players took in good humour The meeting started, and around 60 seconds in (Quite good for me, they usually only get 30 seconds) I interrupted the meeting and stated categorically, and said we ain't here on some PR Exercise, don't want a balloon and picture and its a safe space as a group for everyone to talk openly. They went around the room and each player and supporters had questions and answers. Everyone from the supporters section, stated that anger was at the owners and the shit show in the background. The players all said they results were not good enough, they understood the frustrations when they lose, and they feel it like we feel it. However it was then reiterated about 13 years of crap from india, Maguire fiasco, Financial fiasco. Josh was fantastic, he made it clear that a coffee with the players is not going to have a jot of difference or solve the wider issues which are once again bringing the clubs competence into question (Appreciate he did not use these exact words, it was much stronger). Waggott is certainly feeling the pressure from all angles, be that internal, external or India. He is not blind to what may occur but continues to engage. In terms of Suhail, Josh made it clear, without him in the room, its pointless, he cant hide away and as the owners mouthpiece he needs to engage. I can assure everyone that anything else discussed is out there in the public domain, and for legal reasons I personally cannot deny or confirm certain things, My wife needs every penny we have right now, and I cannot leave her destitute by being caught up in a legal battle for something I cannot substantiate. My health is well documented, and even tonight the grief on twitter for reporting the news, which is not an endorsement of the news is just shocking really. At times I don't know who the enemy is. The meeting ended, and the supporters stopped behind for a debrief really amongst themselves. A little shell shocked, perhaps confused and if anything its fair to say we was unprepared. We had not met up previously, each group there bar the independents which I consider myself, have a mandate or a function to provide free speech. For example, I could see first hand how the trust are in a damned if you do, damned if you don't position. The positive around the meeting is that different groups with somewhat differing views could work as a team to get the points across and everyone did this well to a person. No-one had birds spinning around their heads,. and to be honest I'm proud of them all and they are credit to the supporter base for having a go, and saying exactly as it is. I know to some the above is excuses and we are all on the naughty step, however you won't conquer the mountain if you fail to engage and put the graft in to build the blocks. Some of us are tired, we've been at this years, at times the grief becomes more than the cause and whatever happens it does affect us all. Some tweets I was receiving tonight of 17/18 yr old lads, were 4 or 5 years old when we was in the trenches last time, or marching to the FA and Parliament. There 100% needs to be a know your history piece, because right now, Venkys out, Waggott our JDT Out, whoever out, won't work without clear facts. The media need the story they need the reasoning, as do a big % of match going supporters. Thank you for reading, I know BRFCS Will do an article and Rovers Chat a podcast, Id rather them do that now, and any question be posed after that, as I'm just exhausted- 9617 replies

The thing is with this whole circus which makes me nervous, is the couple of constants over the last 10/11 years. Sylvester and Suhail, We've had the old Shaw Fax Machine, O'Brien, McGuire, Hidden work permits by company directors to prevent transfers, and staff being hired. So to spin the coin between error and sabotage, I genuinely with confidence could not wager my savings either way. Maybe the agents are wrong and those ghost in the corridors don't get a pay day on certain deals? This whole thing needs breaking down, as I still believe we have other things at work here, rather than it being a simple error -

Reading around the net as a whole, there appears to be far more approval (Even read one tweet suggesting a GB Statue), regarding our business. Seen a number of posts, suggesting JDT Better not complain as we have not only delivered but gone above and beyond with the best window in years. Read some post suggesting there is a core of spoilt brats in the supporter base who would rather we spunk the money away that ain't even cold from hitting the bank, and risk the long term future of the club, to prove they are right in terms of the club not being financially supported. Read posts of Venky.s would if they could , send funds and we need to help them, and Wharton realised this as a fan, and sacrificed himself for the rest of us. Shocking amount of post suggesting we are well run, and have taken a mature view to the window and not only have options but some incredible ones. My own view is the same view as it was before the window, we have again gone quantity over quality, and to add to that picture take short terms options leaving a mammoth rebuilding job in the summer, when the fees generated is whittled away to cover operating costs, and we head out for more loans to build a team. Nothing against any of the players we've signed, they need to be given a chance, and always will be as its what we do. A mixture of age and youth, so some balance there, but totally underwhelmed of the markets we find ourselves in due to piss poor management, from owners to CEO's to FDS, I won't be fooled with this loan to buy scenario as we get these all the time and come the time to buy, the criteria has not been met and we send them on the merry way -

For me the statement put out by the club stating we had funds to get to the end of the season, is spitting in my face , when they bloody knew that was based on selling our biggest asset. Loans, loans and more loans , with most of Adams fee gobbled up to pay the bills. Add that to pending Raya money Phillip's money and any further sales, they are really leaving us to rot with zero ambition. -

SWAG Probably said , cancel hotel for him, cant afford it now. Also don't put fuel in Swaggott's wheels to pick him up at the airport as we aint paying overtime to the driver to pick a player up we cant afford. Let Orlando know they need to pick up bill. The penny pinching git, do anything to save a pound -

Four times I planned to renew my season ticket this season.and four times chose not to due to the tones coming out the board room. I didn't think the day would come where I never renewed my season ticket or chose not to go to a single game. My mind is firmly made up, I won't be renewing next season either , in fact I probably won't buy one again, not whilst we are under this ownership and board. My brother with his son renewed and has attended just one game, he has zero interest in attending, whilst my mate also didn't bother. I've lost complete interest, and would have to Google our next league game to see who we are playing. Everything this club does from one day to the next, has driven me further away, and they ain't getting a single dime off me for the foreseeable. I'm totally disconnected, and feel that they take our support for granted. Well not any more, they can plough on , in their merry way with the flat earthers who defend their every move because they've lived rent free in my brain long enough -

Goes back to the question I asked here the other day, where some were suggesting they can have funds based on previous hearing , and that they couldn't be penalised for the hearing not happening. Don't know if that's true, though Duncan suggested no. Maybe we've taken a further loan out against an asset? Or had an indication Raya funds may land, or its based on us selling Wharton, or we've cried poverty in the courts (lied) and have limited funds which we chose not to disclose. Having money now unless it's come from elsewhere is not consistent with what we was told in December. The club stating they now have funds suggest something has changed since December or they are expecting a cash injection -

The pattern with Rovers when they sell is to allow these bids to go public, usually in the hope of a bidding war. They did with Philips , they did with Kaminski It's like they are telling Palace etc you need to be quick because others are in. I'd be shocked if both ain't sold this window. We are certainly not seeing the "Not for sale" with these alleged bids being rejected. They clearly want as much as they can get and with a week to go , hoping to extract as much as they can. -

Some suggesting on twitter we would get funds now based on previous ruling? I'm not sure that's correct but dont know its incorrect either. . Pretty sure SW said we had to provide substantiation to each claim and given they granted the funds on the previous bills, surely they won't just grant another 11 million blindly in absence of the hearing? I genuinely don't know their laws . Anyone more legally minded know the likelihood of the above scenario? -

A Wharton sale will come down to if JDT gets 85% to spend in this window. If that's a NO , I can't see JDT or GB entertaining the idea. The longer we can't get transfer fee money out of India the need to generate it from sales grows larger with the results on the pitch alarming. True saleable assets are few and far between . Getting a million here or there for a first team player ain't going to generate a fund decent enough to attract better first team players. It's a certainly a conundrum for the manager and GB I suspect -

Some interesting footage of the fall under these cretins, but also interesting points like the LET for example backing the supporters. Keep the good fight , just listening to the likes of Tony Parkes and others, brings back the memories of the past. We cannot allow any of the story under V's be lost It was only a few months back we had interviews claiming its the best it's ever been under V's and articles claiming they were one of the leagues best owners. The only people who will tell our story , is our fans. The personnel may have changed, but the decline remains. https://ewoodpark.jimdofree.com/the-venky-s-reign-of-error-the-protest-movement-video-s-key-players-media-articles-chronology-of-events-and-photo-s/ -

No issue with LET journalist, Though the fact he is rehashing minutes and meetings he didn't attend as news , then admitting he ain't ever had a meeting with SWAG himself , somewhat loses credibility. The SWAG is very accessible , and if people who don't get paid can get meetings in their own time, you'd thijk the local RAG could, or at least a call to substantiate or deny. No wonder the sales of newspapers are dropping -

There is a substantial post venkys supporter base. They've lost thousands of pre-venkys with new ones who were either not old enough to remember rovers in 2010 or have got the bug since.
