I would like to thank everyone who chose not to go today as your symbol, that this is bigger than 22 men chasing a piece of leather on the pitch. Id like to personally thank everyone who has supported the coalition and even further given me so much support over the years to try and keep up the good fight against all the adversity that comes with putting your head above the parapet. At 10am yesterday i got the news we all dread, as one of my parents sadly suffered a heart attack and were blue lighted to Blackpool straight into surgery and not in a great way. In a strange way, it galvanised my spirit of why we do what we do. Without my parents. Id not be here. Id not be a rovers fan and certainly not be so invested in trying to protect it. Emotions are running high, always are after a game, and the dust settling will evolve in the coming days. Whats next is the burning question? For me, its take stock, evaluate, listen, and then the picture will become clear

Having heard the full calls, and there are many, to both Suhail and Rudy. The caller clearly states who he is and which clubs he's from etc. The X poster, i'm not sure who it is, but this story emerging has been mentioned on BRFCS before, I guess timing, rainy day, top pocket for better words, is critical given the clubs current state of affairs. Many people are peed off at Rovers, and needle in a haystack springs to mind now, in terms of where the bombs originate from. I suspect given various conversations ive had in the last 12 months, others would have had similar or different ones where more skeletons emerge. To underestimate the true reach of supporters or indeed their intelect has been a trait forever associated with Rovers. Its full hands to the pumps on Boycott saturday, some articles in national press due out Friday/saturday. All we can all do who support this action is keep spreading the word

I'm not sure what else can be done at this point. I know nationals (some meetings with them) and local newspapers running with it later this week. So many of these thoughts are exactly how I feel. I stripped my Rovers room last week (moving house). Memories going back nearly 50 years, all boxed and no intention of being dIsplayed again. Was going to sell/donate it all, but wife said NO. Season tickets un-used since turn off the taps were announced. I wont attend again this season, and wont be renewing either. Wife may take kids for the rest of season (that will be her choice and it will purely be for the girls), they love their football, but the tradition of my family all being rovers fans, may break as my girls love Mbappe etc and will choose who they support as they get older uninfluenced by tradition.

Where doing our best mate, its gone through media, been discussed in the ground, been in paper, on TV/Radio. We are doing our best with no funds, Happy for people to buy leaflets/distribute, needs many hands to the pumps, be that sharing across all social media, or buying leaflets and distrbuting.

Whats always interesting reading social media is the loudest voices of opposition to change in the main don't actually go Ewood. I find it incredible on X in particular the opposition to boycotting is from supporters who aint actually going or have never been. As a season ticket holder they've had my money already, but on average i spend over a £100 per game at the ground, across parking, club shop, children flag bearing and refreshments for me and the family. That's the first tap , ive turned off. Looking through my bank statements, i've spent (not including season tickets or fuel) £2146.00 this season. In the new year thats halfway to a holiday and wont be going in the clubs til in any capacity. As a supporter of 47 years, i've seen the good, the bad and the ugly but this time its different. No connection, no goosebumps and a club/ownership who dont give a f***, about the fans.

What ive been told

My understanding is their cash imput is limited to £20m, not a penny more and if it can be less, those charged with running it have fullfilled the remit given to them. The owners if they could shift it (i.e a buyer rolls in to ewood with proof of funds to both buy and sustain the club) they'd sell without hesitation. Will they actively state "its for sale" absolutely not, but the reality is, every club is for sale.
