100% last seasons sale of Armstrong with no replacement was criminal. There was nothing to suggest Brereton could replicate the goalscoring void Armstrong left. Thankfully BBD, did, however his injury, said goodbye to promotion, and had we bagged a striker in the summer, then i think we'd have picked up more points than we did in 2022

Think those fixtures couldnt of come out any better to be honest. Plenty of early games which you'd think we should consider as very winnable fixtures. A good start, to get that momentum going. Very happy with fixture list

My point stands, as does my support for the Rovers trust, i'm sure Mhead can speak for himself, and does not need you to answer for him. Anyone who gives their time and effort to chair the trust, has only the best interests of the club at heart, its a thankless task, i should know the amount of times the business plan hit my desk during the formation of it. Never spoken to him, but the lack of transparency I feel I need to now, especially reading post that he is peoples friend, which totally compromises progress. We have potentially an exciting new DOF and Manager, yet disconnection and discontent remains in some quarters. Given my expereience in putting others needs before my own in dialogue with the club and authorities, i think i need to try and get clarity and get rid of the elephant in the room, which continues to scratch at the scars of many. .

I have renewed reluctantly, but I always do, but on the basis nothing will keep me away. My renewal though is certainly not an endorsement on the pricing arrogance or incompetence of the regime.

Yeh quite tedious, friends counted on one hand, acquaintances through your job, role and position something else. Once you cross the line and become friends you become compromised, less effective and no longer credible to those you seek to represent. As one famous Director once said to me when I asked him if he wanted to come for a beer 20 yesrs ago (my own work life) at Xmas. "No because one day I may have to sack you" Supporter representation starts with your own opinion being shelved permanently, putting the views of others regardless of if you agree/disagree with the points you are presenting. As no-one is doing market research, holding public meetings, i'm a little unsure how supporter opnion is being gauged or what is being presented. Believe it or not twitter, facebook, brfcs and other msg boards count to just a small percentage of our supporter base. Getting down in the trenches, facing the supoorters face on is something i've not seen since the last Georges hall open meeting chaired by Wayne Wild and Mark Fish some 6 years ago.
