A competition for the overseas Roverites. Unfortunately a match ticket is included.
Saw that on twitter, just deciding which Venky's out image to use

My iFollow debut this week.
Managed to buy a match pass for today so hope my phone connection is ok to stream. I have tested on a free vid so hopeful.
If you are watching it on your phone and it buffers you can alter the video quality on the video settings, shouldnt make that much difference viewing wise on a small screen.
Anybody had any luck getting a response to enquiries on the ifollow@efl.com email address?

Not only back on the road but playing extra venues due to overwhelming demand.
I may be falling in love with LInz. If she's reading this, this was me outside the club shop on Saturday:-
Did this sudden falling in love start when Linz mentioned she likes smallwood?

Blacksnape footy pitches (although they might be saving that for the home ground pics in 2020)

Just reading this thread listening to recommended playlist on spotify and this comes on
First they take your pride,
then turn it all inside,
and then you realize you got nothing left to lose.
So you try to stop,
try to get back up,
and then you realize you're telling the Story of the Blues.
Felling browbeaten day after day,
I think It's over but I just can't get away.
You said forget it,
well don't jump the gun,
you're laughing this time next time you might be the one
To tell...
(the story of the blues)
talk about synchronisation- 1

Back to the RR discussion.
It seems the solution offered by Rovers (to more than one person) to the problem of no commentary for those affected by visual impairment within the ground, is to get the person sat next to you to tell you what is going on .
Pure class and befitting of the slumdogs ownership

I'd question if it was ever intended as a vital service and I do mean question as I'm not aware if it was.
Clearly there will have been fans who were unable to attend through ill health, mobility or sight issues etc. who listened. I understand this but I don't recall Rovers ever promoting RR in this way to the wider community nor do I recall fans praising it for such involvement.
Like many things at Ewood the closure could possibly have been handled better but that comes as no surprise.
You were unaware that supporters who attend games with visual disabilities listen to radio rovers via headsets/radios? I would call that a vital service.
To me it seems a cynical move to wring a few more quid out of these people by getting them to sign up to ifollow on the eve of the first home game of the season, because when they purchased their new season tickets I am pretty sure they would not have been made aware that the service was being withdrawn, still community awards already in the bag and Rover the dog has a kennel now , all is well.

Don't disagree with that, used to tear my hair out with Coyle and Kean, but generally thought he was a decent broadcaster, hope he gets a gig somewhere.
25 years of the first football club radio station and it's gone with a days notice.
How was it announced? As a bulletpoint on a website article next to the Blues Bar opening hours and a reminder that a load of car parks have been closed, no warning given to visually impaired fans either.
Poor do.
Apparently the supporters who used the in ground service received a phone call yesterday, stating the club are looking for an alternative method.
If that is the case, to me that is poor form , those people have purchased season tickets with a view that a vital service to aid their match day experience will still be available and no replacement is in place? Looks like another Chancer decision no doubt will be explained with a thrilling powerpoint presentation.
Just wonder if the RR commentary is being transferred to the ifollow subscription (UK version)

Wonder if the Dingles Supporters clubs in Pune and Ribchester will be having another meet up at Ewood for this?

So the Daily Fail use a Tweet from a fake Tony Mowbray Twitter account and claim that it actually is Tony Mowbray About half way down the page.
So whoever wrote the article thinks a manager would tweet about planning to beat up his own player. Incredible stuff
Brilliant :), can't imagine ToMo doing twitter on a smartphone comes across as a original nokia 3310 man, non nonsense practicality over gimmicks

You can access it through matches the first team results.
Same as live, mo commentary or anything different so worse than the old player.
Also makes it much harder to not see the result as through desktop at least the status bar has little footballs showing when a goal is scored.
Am I the only person who sometimes will watch the game the nest day having avoided seeing the result (which is getting much easier the worse we get ) ?
Although it is great to be able to see matches live and the stream was fine (I was in Ireland with Astrill vpn set to Netherlands) no commentary even on the replay (which you have to wait almost 20 hours for) is poor. It's not a cheap service but am I being greedy?
Did not see the following myself just read it on another forum, but during a live video stream of a match there was an option on audio for home /away/ crowd or something like that. Apparently only the crowd one worked, but it may be something they will be adding, but read elsewhere it is at the clubs discretion to add audio to the video feed.
Also read somewhere that adding the audio to the video is the club's responsibility, so who knows?

I go to register for a season pass and it asks for my card details. No PayPal link. I am using a VPN. How can I pay through PayPal? Thanks
Clear your browser cache, and use a NZ ip or one of the others mentioned on previous posts (HK is one), do it from the ifollow link on the desktop version of the rovers site. For some reason Au and some other countries do not show the paypal option sometimes

Thanks for the info @perthblue02. I've got in touch with iFollow, so I'll see what they say.
I don't think I paid by PayPal, but my billing address is still in the UK, so that could be why they didn't cancel my original subscription.
When I logged into iFollow on the laptop yesterday, I couldn't find a link to the match, only "Latest Videos" with the Harry Chapman interview as the last thing available. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Will try again next time.
Yes it was hard to find, way i found it was - log in , then go to Matches > first team fixtures and results (top menu), alongside the various fixtures there is a watch on Ifollow / listen on ifollow link, just clicked on the watch link , the match page opened with video

Regarding refunds from the player HD subscriptions, it seems that overseas supporters had their subscriptions cancelled and refunds issued (or not) UK and Ireland based subscribers should have had their subscription transferred to the new ifollow
Overseas FAQ UK And Ireland FAQ Request address for refunds / contact email address in those links. It does seem that if you subscribed via paypal to the player HD service for 12 months at the beginning of last season the refunds were not processed because of Paypal's limit on refund times and the EFL contacted by email (mine was in the spam folder) regarding getting a refund
@Phil T Laptop (windows) version worked fine had to switch to it at half time , hdmi cable attached to tv works well, looking around a few other football forums it seems hdmi and airplay is disabled on Apple products running the service?

Thought the camera bloke did a decent job , like danger19-80 experienced buffering in the second half but put that down to the third world internet over here.
Need to play around with the android app to see what the problem is with it stopping the video and losing subscription details not allowing logging out etc , anybody else experience this?

Did that jut as mentioned just get a sign in page with a promo vid.
Make sure you are actually signed in , it shows your name on the top menu but sometimes you are not actually signed in, just had that problem myself with having
to switch to laptop and hdmi cable because the android app video stopped and said no subscription and it would not let me log out to sign in again
