  1. I loved that goal Thank God Graham was the one on the end of it. Someone else might have tripped over their laces.
  2. I wouldn't fancy many of our strikers to take it, but it wasn't the most difficult. Central enough and keeper miles off his line I would like to see JRC where Armstrong is.
  3. I think he's one of our better players to be honest , well was
  4. Literally on a plate. Does anyone concede as soft a goal? Simple ball over the top and goal. I blame Lenihan and Walton too.
  5. Can Samuel actual get control of the ball, let's find out. Not looking good so far.
  6. Have never won there apparently
  7. Ya, it was probably the Barnsley or Wigan game but Mowbray and they players are still saying there is a chance, so I meant a defeat should put an end to that nonsense. Maybe nonsense is harsh, I wouldn't expect them to say anything else and the reality is the talking they have done on the pitch told the story a few games ago. God knows how they are looking at the club now in the midst of the pandemic and how that impacted their main business. Can't see anyway it's gonna be good though. I suppose we just have to hope at least 4 teams next season are in a worse position than us. Barring mass protests, I don't see any change, no. Unless Mowbray decides to go and why would he?
  8. And the last few games are gonna be grim, with some disgruntlement from the fans I suspect. Not that it will make an iota of difference to anything. The only way Mowbray will leave is if he decides to OR Venkys decide to go for someone cheaper. It won't be a progressive appointment anyway, unless they got lucky and appointed Ainsworth or promoted Johnson.
  9. I have spent almost 50 euro watching us on Ifollow since returning. I probably will again tonight, but I expect our play off hopes to end with a bang. 3-1 Cardiff.
  10. True and that leads to so many games where it's turgid to watch.
  11. Good post and that attitude permeates throughout the team. You know a winning team when you see one, they actually rush with their frees to try and win games. So often we stand around, tap to someone else, let them take it maybe, ah no back to you again. 3 minutes pass. Bunch of losers to be honest.
  12. Probably been mentioned, but we were absolutely muscled out if it today. We were looking for fouls because bigger boys were taking the ball off us. Where were our "hard men" like Lenihan and Johnson?
  13. A few nice touches and passes, not much overall, but compared to the other "attackers" bar Armstrong
  14. Gallagher's miss sums up the issues we have upfront, Armstrong aside I would be more confident of Brereton, Gallagher or Samuel missing a chance ,rather than scoring it. I knew when he was running through he would miss , I at least expected him to hit the target though. A decent striker and thats 1 touch and then bang, back of the net. Overall ,apart from Holtby and Armstrong, the rest just looked bang average. Not taking chances kills you and we are shockingly good at it.
  15. Don't see how that was a free against Bennett
  16. F**k Gallagher , hit the bloody target!!
  17. I think it would have been a soft free, but you see them given I suppose. We look extremely disjointed in possession
  18. I like the two guys on Ifollow, but how can both of them be in agreement that Gallagher is a threat in the air? They went as far as saying he might rough up Cooper and White. Well, that would be a pleasant surprise.
  19. To be fair, I haven't seen anybody "blame it all on Lenihan". People were having a general discussion about players missing games to be at their children's births. Not referring to you, but it really seemed to work some people for no apparent reason. The usual suspects.
  20. Walton Nyambe Tosin Lenihan Downing Travis Johnson Holtby Armstrong Rothwell Graham Last chance saloon for Rothwell til the end of the season.
  21. If a chance broke in any capacity, could you honestly say you would back Samuel to score it? If yes, why? He has shown a complete inability to take chances. I would have more faith in Gallagher. Brereton ,it's a toss up.
  22. If we do win, I'm firmly back in the "we can do it" camp I'm a sucker for punishment.
