  1. I know you didn't say that ,I'm just saying I hope Mowbray sees the need for experience, even on loan. We have enough kids
  2. You were saying Mowbrays rovers were a licence to print money if I recall 😂 If it was that simple, no big clubs with better squads , budget's and facilities would ever stay down there. There are numerous examples where that was the case. Just look at the teams there now.
  3. Easy to say that now. Were you saying he should be sacked at the time? Doubt it. More likely tipping us to win every game
  4. We have enough kids. Hopefully he gets some experienced players on loan. Surely there are some out there? We clearly have a budget for out of contract players. Why aren't we using it? The fact we didn't have a head of recruitment for 5 months surely comes into this, even though @chaddyrovers said it didn't matter.
  5. He shouldn't have said that, but as you say, he is right to dig in. It's the owners or Waggot that need to sort the issue. The more stuff that comes out, the more I reckon they just don't want to spend the money sacking him and getting someone new in.
  6. Goess who's back, back again, Chaddys back
  7. They have invested well. They could do well
  8. Keeping him was actually a great call, because someone else might not have gotten us out of League 1. Bigger clubs with better squads got stuck down there longer. Thats the reality.
  9. Did they sell anyone? How have they managed to have a window like this
  10. It wouldn't be backwards. He over achieved with Wycombe. MK Dons would have a far larger budget. As for him not walking out unless it was to come here, dream on. There are numerous clubs he would leave there to go to.
  11. QPRs business. Well for some. If Armstrong left and we got those 9 in ,along with Ainsworth, I would fancy us for promotion.
  12. And if you didn't you would take full responsibility for the season and resign? Sure, I don't believe you!
  13. Nonsense. Of course it's defendable. Maybe Warnock would have, but plenty of others wouldn't have,or gotten us out of League 1. So let's not completely lose perspective on things just because of the frustration that he has now massively over stayed his welcome.
  14. To be fair I would imagine Salford are pretty competitive when it comes to wages. I would imagine he went cos it's a better opportunity. They will probably have a right go at promotion.
  15. The damage had been done If someone was doing your job for 11 months and you came in for the last month, would you find it fair to be reviewed on the entire year?
  16. Warped logic. Sit this next one out.
  17. That makes no sense! People, don't lose perspective here
  18. Ah come on. Coyle basically relegated us
  19. Well that's something positive
  20. You are on a bit of a crusade here and I honestly don't know why you are having back and forths with so many people on the topic. We all know about Venkys and what kind of owners they are. Pointing out Mowbrays part in this isn't making excuses for them, but you seem to repeatedly take that from people's posts?
  21. Because Mowbray throws players on in positions them and their team mates look unsure of and confused by. Like throwing on 5 strikers in the 3-2 positions of 5-3-2. It happended time and time again last season
  22. With the time and resources Mowbray has had, another manager would have us in a stronger position now. A lot of signings that didn't work out, in positions we didn't need, dead wood and guys that just should not have been given new deals. Mowbrays action have contributed greatly to the problems this window.
  23. Exceptional? That's an exaggeration.
  24. Coventry doing good business. They will definitely finish ahead of us next season. They must have owners who know what the are doing
  25. Here are quotes in the LT, from Mowbray. Doesn't sound like keeping it simple is the plan. In fact, quite the opposite "We have to be able to change the format of games, too often last season we lost by the odd goal and I’m hoping if we can strengthen up before the window closes that we’ll have better options to be able to play different ways with different players.”
