  1. Mowbray leaving and starting the season with Venus as manager would be real old school Venkys. Wouldn't be surprised
  2. If you owned the club, 40,000 for youth teams would be the least of your issues, but you do seem to focus on bizzare stuff, so there's that. You also don't rate Dack and think Mols is the next Messi, so really, you probably should be kept far, far away from developing youngsters
  3. Absolutely no logic in scrapping it so. Costs less than 1/5th of Sam Gallaghers transfer fee per season
  4. I mean the general set up, his approach, his "philosophy" ,his man management. Bigger than being there today or not
  5. Come back to me after 10 games. Fair enough?
  6. That is worrying. I think he has lost the players You can just imagine him being too stubborn to accept any blame for last season and the players losing what respect they had for him.
  7. Ya. I wouldn't scrap it,but clearly we need to be finding a few more Phil Jones , more regularly
  8. Agreed. Plus the elephant in the room of an average manager who is now basically a lame duck. I think he has lost the players. We are teetering on a knife edge. I'm normally positive, but I would take staying up now if offered it. It's hard to see how we will be in anyway successful next season. If we got the Barnsley manager in, who is now at West brom, I would still think he would have a lot to do to to whip this bunch into anything resembling a team who can challenge for promotion, with Mowbray how in the name of god does anyone see him doing it?
  9. We are currently 1 of 4 teams yet to sign a player. It's all fine though. Reading the LT there, it's a bit ridiculous how they go on about injuries, not the fact our recruitment looks to be absolutely pathetic and dependent on flogging Armstrong. Late deal with budget replacement with promise of it being spent in January. Prepare for it. It will make it easier.
  10. The only injured player who is a total game changer to have back is Dack. The rest it's debatable what difference they will make. Lowe actually said this group don't like losing games Christ almighty
  11. What he has changed it to is shite. Once teams figured us out last year, we were absolutely toothless. The more direct style was a no brainer for league 1. I still give him credit for getting us up though.. I don't even think a change of style would save us now. He's currently a manager who neither him nor the players can believe is still in the job. It's a pathetic situation and it's going to lead to an horrendous start. Calling it now. It'll just depend how long they leave him as to whether we get in serious trouble or not.
  12. The defence and midfield is probably first choice at the minute, right? Armstrong might be gone, if not ,he will. Brereton will probably start, so you could have 9/10 of them start, you would imagine?
  13. Today's result under normal circumstances wouldn't matter, but it's another one we can't win. This squad, under this manager have the most loserish of losing habits. Don't worry though, it's all going to change the minute the season starts 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
  14. Nor am I, there is plenty more to look at as to why we are in trouble. See my post above 2 wins out of 17
  15. How would it be any different to last season though? Mowbray said the performances were great, so why would he change things?
  16. He probably doesn't know what we are doing..I didn't at times last season It's mad that some still don't see the massive, neon warning signs at this point
  17. Mowbray has literally lauded this approach, so don't get how it's not his style?
  18. Not entirely accurate. He did play him. On the wing.
  19. Meh. I would be more bothered about the barriers currently hampering the club from going for promotion. Although I suppose I am particular about the colour blue that's used, even though some spoke of tradition and the lighter blue being the "traditional" choice. It's the royal blue all the way for me.
  20. Bit of an over reaction 😂 I don't get why anyone would care about reversed halves on the back 🤷 The correct blue colour, simple kit, will definitely be getting one
  21. Nicest home kit I remember in the championship actually. Looking forward to seeing the away
  22. Well, out with it and don't leave us in suspense
