  1. Absolute peanuts. Typical Rovers that it would come to this with a player of such value.
  2. You did have the answer though, you said it didn't matter that there was no head of recruitment, because the club said so. Now we all know this not to be the case(even though anyone with an iota of sense knew this to always be the case).
  3. Email who? I am asking you if it matters or not, because you based your view on the club saying it didn't matter there was no appointment, to now them saying work can begin when Parkes is in place. Filling that role clearly mattered. It took 6 months, including eating up some of the window. Are you capable of thinking for yourself?
  4. Well now they have said the opposite, so which is it?
  5. Never heard of him. 26 years old and has played a handful of games. What's the story with this guy?
  6. Madness. Absolutely baffling. 2 wins in 17
  7. @chaddyrovers Didn't you say the club said it didn't matter as targets had already been identified? That it was irrelevant basically that nobody was in the role.
  8. I wonder does he believe there is any chance of him getting the club promoted. Genuinely
  9. Good post. I suppose the caveat is other ,better managers , got wise to our approach and our manager couldn't fix that. He's a stubborn old mule
  10. Oh I know he would have. I just like using the 2 in 17 for those who are struggling to see the threat here
  11. No. They have fucked up before and continue to do so, but they have given Mowbray every chance. Money to spend and time. Very few get in the championship get 1 ,let alone 2
  12. Be honest and answer yes or no ideally Do you think this new appointment has any say in sacking the manager? You give out about people talking about Mowbray being here or the fact there was no head of recruitment, yet trot out hypotheticals like we have or even will have a proper DOF, over and over again.
  13. @chaddyrovers What would your reaction be if/when he gets offered a new deal?
  14. McCarthy, who you don't like, delivers results and has done so throughout his career, irrelevant of budget. He has nothing to prove anywhere he has managed at this level. Anyway, if they go on a 2 wins in 17 run, he will be sacked..
  15. Ah to be fair Mowbray basically said he was going to pick the person. It isn't a surprise
  16. Indeed. When Mowbray goes, they all go
  17. So let's go simple so in an ideal world. Where would this team finish? Playing a direct style , not long ball, but passing forward, quickly. Better than 15th I wager Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Ayala Pickering Chapman Travis Rothwell Brereton Armstrong Gallagher Obviously there are stil issues around squad depth. Huge issues, but as every summer, transfers are coming....eventually
  18. He should do that, but will he? He thinks he's Guardiola, but a version that winning doesn't matter to.
  19. Ayala looks very decent, but if he doesn't play 25 games ,at least , it's just disruptive
  20. Nothing to suggest we will concede less under Mowbray. He admits it's not his way and we know has struggled organise things since being here.
  21. Very worrying imo. Kaminski is good. Defence- We need cover for both full back roles and hope that Wharton and Ayala stay fit. Midfield- So worrying. So weak and feeble in this position. We will get destroyed. I hope they have some ideas about strengthening that area up. Mostly its inconsistent players, players who have never done it and injury concerns. Attack- Hard to see where the goals come from when AA leaves. Brereton and Gallagher need to have the season of their careers to even get anywhere near 28 goals together. Add Mowbray into this and its very worrying times
  22. Did we win games last season only they know about or something?
