You'd be surprised what physios and chiropractors advise and the basic everyday things they take into account.  Didn't we have a player who had to have special car seats made to help stave off a few persistent niggles ?

Think it might have been Duff.

It was Duff. They altered the seat in his car to help his hammies, iirc.

Yes we went to two police officers on horses but they are as useful as a chocolate teapot. We were bloodied. They just walked off as though nothing had happened. I'm not a liar and I have no reason to make this up

He was trying to be amusing and have a dig at me in the same post. He failed, naturally. If it's any consolation my mate once banjo'd a Leeds fan who got a bit mouthy on Bolton Road.

What were your injuries? Where there independent witnesses? Did you report it to the Police and what happened to the offenders at court otherwise it sounds BS?

Sorry pal! I think I just had a blueboy moment!

    ?

I realise you aren't the brightest but he clearly states that the police saw it and did nothing. What he didn't tell you is someone rang him rang him later using a voice distorter and threatened to kill him and his cat.

But Glen like many of us at that time became far more expert in the laws, consequences and suppression tactics relating to publishing or not than any of us had any wish or need to before or since...

Hence no documentation of the type blueboy is looking for. He should have been around in 2011 then he wouldn't be so flippant.

Not sure where the flippancy is,  but what I did learn a long time ago that 'facts' you post are invariably hysterical or just plain wishful thinking.

And going forward if someone wants to make accusations of death threats they really should be able to back them up. Flippant accusations do nobody any good and reflect badly on the person making them, especially when they relate to something as serious as threats on people's lives.

All I asked originally was if the death threats were reported to the police. If they happened they could be put on a blog no problem, and reported to the police. Names don't even have to be mentioned. I'm no expert like you (!) but even I know that.

Nope. Matchday experience is what happens inside the ground.

Nope. Matchday experience is what happens on matchday and is connected to the match. The clue is in MatchDAY.

Getting there is different, that is a transport issue.

Nope.  PNE put on coaches for home fans and advertise them on their website. They want to help with the matchday experience for their fans.

My post directly before the PNE post gives my opinion on buses. I'd use it provided there is enroute pick up. I'm not driving 5-6 miles in the opposite direction to catch a bus.

There you go then, you've answered your own question. That's one way things could improve.

Lots of keepers do things naturally and I honestly don't see how any coaching can improve his decision making which is an area that really lets us down.

Indeed. The needless charge to the corner of his box at the DE to give away one of the most stupid penalties I've ever seen had nowt to do with coaching.

What I don't get is he dropped some of the under performers and then offers Conway a new contract. Alice in Wonderland stuff.

Depends what he's offered Conway. It might the kind of offer that says 'we both know you can get better money elsewhere, so that's what I'm suggesting you do'.

Anyway, Raya has 2 years left on his contract so the situations aren't the same. Sharpe is suggesting that Mowbray wants to keep Raya but also sign competition.

I’d rather we stick with the one who should get better - he’s already decent championship level, and unless we’re spending a big wedge, I doubt we’d get a better player.

As you pointed out on t’uther thread, we’ve conceded far too many and something needs to change, but I’d rather see competition for Raya than a direct replacement.

Mowbray possibly feels he hasn't got the time to wait for Raya to improve, Venky's will demand play-offs/promotion at some point like they did with Bowyer (this summer would be my guess) There's also no guarantee Raya will get better anyway.

Mowbray was visibly angry at the end of the season when he was talking about bring a new defence in.  Every single member of that defence has a mistake in them that can and has cost us points.  The fact he dropped both Raya and Mulgrew was obviously significant as, along with Bell, they cost us the most points. The fact he also let it be known under-contract players would be sold was instructive.

If we get a better GK than Raya then Mowbray has done his job. If Raya didn't want the competition and expected to be No1 then he isn't going to stick around if the manager is saying he's bringing another keeper in. I suppose they would have had that chat last week. As Mowbray said, the players not in the team should have known what was coming.

Brentford would seem an obvious shout should Raya want to leave. They tend to buy potential in the hope they can improve them. They can also probably guarantee him the No1 jersey as their other keepers look like they are off.

In the parlance of the wannabe ITK, this transfer probably 'has legs'.

Jeeeez you don’t get top class keepers from your academy by selling them at 24/25. I agree he’s made mistakes but that’s part of the process.

For me - if we sell Raya it sends out all the wrong signals and will massively frustrate me in terms of what we are supposedly trying to build.

Are you questioning Tony's judgement? If he sells Raya he must have someone else lined up who he thinks is better. That's a good thing, surely?

So you state there were death threats but you can't say whether they were reported to the police. Sounds like BS

Some of the stuff can't be discussed on here for obvious reasons. If you had been to protests, you would know.

You just said on the forum that people had received death threats. I asked if it was reported to the police and bizarrely you replied saying some things aren't for a forum. It's all sounds like a load of shite.
