I'll be in touch if I need a life coach.
You definitely need one, I just don't think anyone is qualified enough.
Now run along before you get J*B upset with me for you trolling me.
Cheers.

Just heard this. Let me see if I can find out where we are with it.
If he's after Whelan then I doubt there's room for another central midfielder. Then again, Whelan is possibly off to Stoke.

Whatever. If this post is code for you rowing back your call for censorship then it's all good. Well done.
Pleasure. Try to get quicker at understanding posts, and slower at being outraged.
All the best.

Looks to me more like Mani has made a point which everyone disagrees with (FWIW I think Souness, Allardyce and Hughes all had teams that worked much harder than Mowbrays) and is sticking to it regardless.
If it becomes trolling we will of course take action. As it stands it's just an opinion nobody agrees with.
Excellent. As long as you're consistent then it's all good in the hood and great on the estate. It's not great when it starts to look personal.

Shocking post.
Whoosh.
I know faux-outrage is the one thing you do well, but it's always best to know the context before you jump in with both feet.

Mowbray’s team work harder than any since 94-95?! Whaaaat? Hughes and Allardyce say hello! The amount of times we downed tools last year was galling.
When I see Adam Armstrong slowly walking back after losing the ball for the 15th time in the game I always think 'that's a Hughsey player right there'.

J*B will be along soon to sort out the obvious trolling. He's very fair and treats everyone the same. I'm sure he'll be calling Mani out soon enough...

Sorry to have committed the grievous sin of showing you're most likely wrong. I made two posts about it, prior to this one. So at the point of you making that post, you'd made the same number.
Apology accepted.

You. You keep going on about it....

Nah it was nothing like that. Fairly cheap deal. Don't remember the reported fee but it was a lot less than that.
On 2 July 2007 he was reported to have signed for Rovers for an undisclosed fee, but it was reputed to be around £3 million and on a four-year contract.“We’ve been following him for some time after manager Mark Hughes identified him as a player he was interested in,” said Blackburn chairman John Williams on his capture.

Ive not been paying complete attention to the transfer market but am I right in thinking a few weeks ago we were looking at young players who could add value with a team of people scouting Europe for gems. Now we’re after washed up championship campaigners.
That seems to be something of a 180 degree turn.
Welcome to Steve and Tony's wonderful world of bullshit. It's not a new thing.

Asked about the likelihood of seeing overseas signings this summer, Waggott added "We could. Stuart Harvey and his team have been out and about in Europe in the last two or three months. Tony and Mark Venus have been out, but you tend to find out that when you select a player, you’re not the only show in town.”
Who'd have thought it? Good players get watched by different clubs. It can't be said Waggott doesn't earn his money with revelations like that.

Dear supporters,
Tony and Steve's bullshit transfer-chat roadshow has now finished it's European tour. We've had a lovely time sampling some delightful European ales but ultimately we've decided washed-up Brits who probably can't even run are where the real value is. We like to call it the Whitto model.
But we'll definitely have the scouting sorted soon. Please bear with us. Then we'll be 'doing a Norwich' or whatever club is doing well at that time. The details really don't matter. What's important is that we make you think we know what we're doing. We don't, which is why we keep kicking the scouting can down the road and saying in 6 months/12 months/3 years* (*delete as applicable) we'll be signing some real European gems. We won't, but please buy a Season Ticket. We're building a club.
Regards,
The Bullshit Brothers.

Any chance you can stop trolling every thread?
Excuse me? If there's link he wants me to read he can post it rather than saying 'look if up'. Any chance you can stop harassing me on every thread?

I do like the prospect of Gally coming back. He was more than decent for us the season we went down. Seems like Tony sees potential in him and can improve him, also he’s good friends with a number of the players anyways so isn’t going to rock the boat in the dressing room, whereas maybe Brett might do?
For all the talk about Bretherton, wasn’t the deal up to 7 mill with certain add ons etc?
I believe the main players we need to sign this summer is someone what can dictate play from the centre of the park plus a good quality keeper and centre back. What would people’s thoughts be on Hart? Seems like he’s on his way out after Pope signed a new deal.
Who's Brett?
Rovers spent £7.6m on transfers last summer.
Mowbray has already denied the Hart story, thankfully.

We spent 7m on BB. We need to start playing the lad more before we fork out another 5m on a player who hardly played last season.
Play him where? He isn't as good as Graham or Gally.

Just now, Neal said:
Surely that should be no yardstick for future purchases though...
You'd hope not.
But I think in Gallagher's case he may be worth the money. BB never will be from what we've seen so far.

Just now, BankEnd Rover said:
Gallagher I feel is okay. I'd take him, but for 5m I would not. BB has my backing for at least another season. Get the lad to play more and hopefully he can prove a lot of people wrong.
Gallagher is twice the player BB is and he's cheaper. Surely you should 'back' Gally.

Yeah, for us and around ten others that were in contention at the time.
Ridiculous level of expectation that takes into account zero external factors.
Evans last season stated the play-offs were the target. Mowbray has said the same for this season. The expectation comes from them.
The defence was appalling, the worst in the country on the road. Lots of points were lost because of it.
I think next season, without momentum, wiil be a lot tougher.

Which makes it even more obvious not to get him.
I rate Gallagher and he'd certainly be more use than BB.

mmm..... Sell before buy doesn't sound good
Aye, Mowbray may well have been told to do one after the Brereton nonsense. Then again Nixon may just be making it up.
The fact Mowbray was talking about 'selling a Dack' in that interview in India t'other day is, a bit ominous.
