  1. Has anyone any joy in finding out if it's actually been shown anywhere?
  2. Big Wharton fan but you cannot compare them at all. Clips don't do it justice. He is top class.
  3. Be just like rovers "oh shit he's actually here, quick doc find something with the medical, anything!!!...yes so Mr.O' Brien turns out you are pregnant so we are gonna have to pull the plug, sorry. Send word to Pune, we've done it again!"
  4. I imagine if it's going as reported that he has already indicated he is interest. Surely he can't be linked all day and be reported as "edging closer" for him to just say "nah". It's clearly a runner.
  5. Decent striker is far more difficult too find and tend to cost alot more. If you gamble on one and it doesn't pay off it's a lot more noticeable too.
  6. He absolutely is needed. Proven top quality championship midfielder. Shocked at that, we've been as awful if not worse in midfield this season than up front.
  7. Sounds like a good time πŸ€™
  8. Tbf it could have been interpreted as he meant Berge as the article was relating to him. You should get a pass πŸ˜‰
  9. Sources saying we are the front runners and he has been given the go ahead to leave. Sheff United look to be out of it now that Berge appears to be staying, O Brien going there was based on them selling Berge. Think it's looking good for us.
  10. Yeah it's always a stress waiting for actual confirmation but Sharpe also confirmed we are in for him and looks like Berge is staying so hopefully we get on with it and get it done. Would be an unreal bit of business.
  11. Looks like the Lewis O'Brien loan is going to happen, I know we tend to be cautious on here about getting carried away but it appears to be looking good. Be delighted with it if it comes off.
  12. Yeah maybe Sorba's loan move was all part of the masterplan? Now it makes sense! Get him in and O' Brien follows as a result...Greggy you diabolical!πŸ˜‰
  13. We won't I imagine but yeah I have lost faith in him too. Wanted it to work out but he is not up to it. As we have harped on about for years now Sparks, our midfield needs a massive improvement. I forgot what's it's like to have someone in there that actually impacts the game.
  14. The hope is creeping back into me...when will I learn. O Brien would be unreal and the arrival of Shelvey pushes him further down the pecking order. Our league position probably looks quite appealing to him.
  15. More of a crΓ¨che these days. Get them ready for "big school" then watch them walk out the door when they start to become any way useful and competent. Great system πŸ‘
  16. Have to say that if we are to accept that this year is about bedding in, getting used to the system and not expecting promotion then I would have Adam Wharton start every game regardless of form. Give him a proper crack of the whip and let's see if is what we think he is. A full season in the championship at 18 is invaluable. If it's going to be a period of transition then make it worth while. This dampening of expectations whilst in a playoff position is absolutely absurd.
  17. Jesus, I was calm until you highlighted this as a positive!!!πŸ˜‚
  18. It obviously is a drop but it's been one season since he has left, a season in which they won a trophy. You said check them out pre and post Tomasson as if there was years of struggle before and after.
  19. What? It's true isn't it? Your point was to imply they were worse off after he left, mine was prove they had success, which they did so not reaching in the slightest.
  20. They won the cup after he left too. Another trophy and success under a different manager.
  21. You mean the most successful team in Sweden? You can't really use them as an example when trying to support his managerial ability. Yeah he done well with them but it's like getting the Celtic or Rangers job and doing well. You don't have to have much about you to be a success there. Not hating just being realistic.
  22. Yeah course it could but it could be alot better too. Not his fault he got the job but equally if he choose to walk as some have alluded to I wouldn't be bothered in the least.
  23. I agree and as it happens because it's a recognised name in football it masks his unproven record. It done the trick in the same way Lampard or similar does/did when in reality the jury is out big time on their managerial abilities.
  24. From what I have seen so far I wouldn't be devastated. Yes he is working with maniacs and people of limited ability to put it nicely but his inability to change a game is down to him and him alone.
