free for under 8's. Has that always been the case? seems a good idea to fill Ewood up -
link is it me-or does he look a bit like David Brent from the Office

Hear, hear. 318592 Yeah like we are overwhelmed with british talent Friedel USA Neill Australia Nelsen New Zeland Todd English Matteo Jock ( non talent) Tugay Turkey Reid Irish Pedersen Norway Emerton Australia Mokena South Africa Dickov Jock also add into that Gresko, Encklmen, Johnson 318611 Fair point, was thinking about this after complaining about Liverpool's lack of British talent. We usually field at least five British players in our eleven. 1) Gray or Matteo or McEveley 2) Todd 3) Savage or Flitcroft 4) Reid 5) Dickov or Stead or Gallagher That sometimes becomes six if Thompson starts ahead of Emerton. There's a big difference between two and five or six which I actually think is the right sort of blend. I still can't really see how the neutral British soccer fan can be expected to be any more excited about the current Liverpool outfit achieving success than say someone like Deportivo La Coruna. To the extent it was a stirring comeback and a triumph for the underdog then yes it represented everything that was good about the game. Again not something necessarily associated with the Liverpool of the last few seasons. 318626 There have been games when we have played no English players at all this season! wake up mate! so by your logic- you wouldnt want Rovers to even win 1 game because of having hardly any English people
-
but if he was from Blackburn-he would be a good player right? just like David 'pele' Dunn btw-seems you are the racist one-to people from down south. SCUM

the argument of, if PNE go up we will lose even more fans Is a laod of rubbish. For the last two seasons our support has gone down- yet PNE and Wigan were both in the Championship!? Its the quality of football we have been playing for the last 2 seasons, is the reason why some of the local fans have left. And I dounbt Wigan and Preston play better football than us

I've got to admit, that even though I have heard of the G14, I didn't have a clue what they stood for. Having a quick look around their website, it appears as though they are trying to fight back against the international bodies who have the power to dictate against the clubs wishes. They do come across as being a very private organisation though. G14 316559 Last night on talksport, Gab Marcotti said there was more chance of breasts growing on your head than Newcastle joining the G14. Although this is the guy i met down in London who told me Robbie Savage was set to join Everton. about a week later he signed for Rovers

Just got back. Rovers played quite well IMO. Todd, Nelson,Neill,Savage were best players. Thompson had a funny game, he had some moments when he looked brilliant but never had the killer pass when it looked like we were about to score. He also lost the ball in dangerous positions. Stead and Emo were ok. McEveley improved in the second half after a nervous display in the first. But he's certainly better than Nissa at left back. We were the better team in the first half with Todd going close and was pretty even in the second half with rovers look good on the counter. We also had some real good spells on Rovers one touch passing Rovers fans were fantastic and we almost sold out. About 1,200 I'd say. Barmy Army chant lasted about 30mins and was constantly loud. Spurs fans were ######. And that Blackburn supporting steward was there again with his scarf on and played with the fans a bit in the second half. "Steward is a Rovers" good day out in the end. My Ratings Friedel 6 - kept punching the ball out for some reason Neill 7- Defended well and some good tackles inside the box Todd 8 -Brilliant Nelsen 7- Defended well but gave the ball away too many times McEveley 6 - Did well in second half Emerton 6 -ok Thompson 7- ive already explained Axe 6-did what he was meant to do Savage 8- Some fantastic tackles and a couple of great balls to front men(or man) Pedersen 6- Didnt do much really Stead 6- he really needs to work out in the gym in the summer subs Johnson-6 looked quite decent -

another great preview! So, what are we doing for Spurs on Sunday this time then? Have we decided yet. -
I've been told we have some young french player called Zidane...i think on trial. He's probably crap, doubt he's better than Atkins anyway
-
Just to add to this point. Why not have a mod to give a rating out of 10 for each player after each league game. It would be like that feature they have on championship manager. And whoever has the highest average rating, wins player of the season. But obviously its all to do with a mods opinion on a players performce for each game.
-
we must be the only fans to slag of our 2nd greatest manager ever!
-
Well, i know why Hughes didnt blame the players. Because it was his fault we lost today im afraid. He had a souness! His subs decisions were pretty poor. And you cant keep using that tired excuse. We have a squad-theres no point playing players who aint 100% fit. ie Pedersen and Reid.
-
A decent performance from the Rovers. We were the better team and maybe we could have won it in the end. Looking forward to the Brum game now. I'll be booking 3 tickets tomorrow, surley we wont sell out 1500, will we? edit: Well played BBC (for once) with a fair match report here bbc
-
Gotta feeling that this will be a good game. Rovers look very tired and i expect Hughes to change a few players. My team would be: Friedel Neill Nelsen Todd Matteo Emerton Tugay Flitcroft Thompson Stead Gally WBA 2-2 ROVERS Gera(22) Flitty (43) Clemence (61) Gally (78)
-
just like you supporting Celtic aswell as Rovers, ay Jan?
-
-about Sutton and Shearer, its more the other way round Jan. Sutton was the guy who took Shearers best mate away from him
-
I say enter it. If we get through. We actually have a chance of winning a competition. Aint that what football is all about. We're never going to win the league or qualify for the champions league, nor are we ever gunna win the league or fa cup again. Who cares about the money- i wanna win something!
-
i agree. I think its quite funny now being labled the bully boys.
-
yeah, but he still managed to have a dig at us though. He was on the Radio saying something like, Rovers are a hard team to break down-they play 10 men behind the ball depite being at home.
