Eeeeeeh he's doing pretty bad....that's being kind.
I'd gamble on a change is all I'm saying. I don't like calling for managers heads but wow he really isn't up to this.
He's either not up to it, or he has given up and is trying to prove a point to the hierarchy. In either scenario, the club suffers and a change needs to be made.

Not gonna be popular, but for those saying JDT out, I have two questions: who should we get to come in to improve and - more importantly than that - how would they do it? So few resources, I think even Warnock would struggle to put something together.
No idea to be honest, but we're at 0 wins in 8 or 1 in 11, and JDT refuses to change anything with regards to our style of play. If he is unwilling to change, then imo literally anyone else on a short contract is worth a free hit because we're going down anyway.

Worst part is that we've played a lot of the really bad teams in this league and they've pretty much all battered us. I haven't looked at our fixtures but I'm assuming that we're coming against all the play-off teams in the run-in.
We're done for. JDT out, Waggott out, Venky's out. In literally any order.

Sammie injured - there was our only chance of staying up - if you didn't laugh you'd cry.

I don't see how even with another person in charge we survive a real relegation fight. You need grit and experience to grind out results, not 20 year olds and tippy tappy football that they'll insist on for "the model".

All of our January signings probably looking at O'Riordan thinking "Unlucky son, you've got to stick with this garbage in League One"

We are 100% going down if we keep JDT. It may not be 100% his fault, but something has to change.

No, but you can't boo the team at half time every time it's just 'poor'. That should be reserved for the very worst of performances, bereft of effort. Quite frankly it's shit supporting to boo this time IMO.
Not even if the last 2 months of performances have been equally as poor? It's not like it's a one-off, in which case I'd have agreed with you.

What a horrible outlook you have.
Especially as I think it was clear that playing for Rovers was his dream, and the club have pushed him out because he was too good. I bet he dreamed of being able to pull us back up to the PL and playing for us there - I highly doubt at any point in his life he sat there thinking "I will do anything to play for Palace".

I've called for JDT to go for a while as it seems blatantly obvious that he this style of football makes us far, far too open at the back.
However I'm conflicted. The club has screwed him over time and time and time again with false promises of money and real signings, only to find new reasons to not help him out. This latest window gives him nothing to develop beyond the end of the season and it looks increasingly likely he'll go before ever getting the opportunity to do anything.
On the other hand, there have been plenty of managers in the past (eg Warnock, Big Sam etc) who have made instant changes to multiple clubs fortunes regardless of playing squad, or have pivoted to new styles of play to work with what they have, and there is no evidence here that JDT can do that.
I can't help but feel sorry for him and that there is no positive way forward for Rovers whether he stays or goes. It has the potential to get very toxic.

Adam Wharton on for palace😭
I really, really hope he manages to make an impact at Palace. If we forced him out and then it doesn't work out I'll be absolutely gutted for him. The fact he had to be forced out in the first place is bad enough.

PNE already up, 2-0 vs ipswich
what a weird league
Ipswich's momentum has been dying for a few weeks now, the top two places will just be a fight of the 3 that came down and could throw money at it consequence free. Shame really as I'd hoped they'd cause an upset.

This is must win for me. One thing I will say is that we now have some experience on the bench that can hopefully help the younger lads when they start flagging later in the game, so hopefully that's enough to get us over the line.
And optimistic Rovers 2-1 QPR

Effectively if it doesn't go ahead then you have to start looking at someone internally doing something.....
I don't expect this to be anything as he seems to be at Ewood for the game which is very different to the situation last season, but if they have managed to balls this up, I agree.
Once with something like this is an egregious set of errors, twice can only be deliberate.

Another reason to appreciate JDT. Speaks the truth and what we are all thinking.
Where does this end?
Probably with another Owen Coyle and relegation

Fleck is a good player, but that's what, 5 out of 6 who could leave in the summer?
Absolutely zero long term strategy.

Glad we have him but him being yet another loan gives me no hope he'll be here beyond the summer even with the buy agreement.

ANOTHER loan potentially in too. What a piss take.
Let's be honest, if they could sell everyone and just build a full squad of loans they would.
Yet again we dumb down the squad by padding it with loans with no thought or plan on improving the squad in the longer term. There is no "model", just a complete scam.

it`s fortunate that rotherham, sheff wed and qpr are by some margin the worst teams in the league and we started the season quite well, there is a now massive gap in our midfield where adam is`nt being replaced and i can see us losing more games than winning from now until may
I don't think the margin between us and them is as big as you think, especially if we finish the window as we are now

That's all well and good bit if that goes through and our deals don't, we're still in a detrimental position. And if Adam didn't want to go either then what was the point of any of this?

I was hoping this would wake people up but some of the other supporters groups are somehow still defending the owners even if this is true.
I just don't understand how you can look at all this and think "thank you Venkys for all you do for us".
Hoping that something comes up today because if not I don't know how I can support a club that can repeatedly play with people like this.

Venkys Out needs to be plastered over every stand at the weekend. I look back at all the cock-ups ober the years and think "things can't get worse" and every time they find a new way.
No club will want to sell to us in the summer, why would they? We renege on every commitment.

Not for me, even leaving out his last few jobs, it would be another person held in high regards by the supporters who would have his Rovers' legacy ruined by Venkys.
