  1. The Tracks of my Tears - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles
  2. The red & black halved shirt is definitely the best one in my living memory. I wouldn't be averse to having different colour options, but the halves are our trademark and should be used for both home & away. Other than the red & black mentioned previously, the yellow and black (similar to Watford's this season but halved on the back as well), or maybe dark green & black - I'm sure I've seen this somewhere this season , would we acceptable options for me: Also quite like this one as another option with Navy rather than black.
  3. Totally agree & I think we need to keep that bit very quiet! ?
  4. For those watching in black & white - the blue is tucked nicely behind the pink! Genuinely not taking the piss mate. But some of the kit clashes this season are ridiculous! I'm fully colour sighted & struggle at times. It must be a nightmare for people like yourselves with colour differentiation issues. I think it has to be something to do with the kit manufacturers leading the way. I've actually asked questions to our resident referee ( @ arbitro) before now cos it's getting on my nerves!
  5. Very rare I 'like' and quote but, this really made me chuckle. I guess that says more about me than anything else! ?? In fact, mods, can we have a poll please on brown or red on your bacon butty? ?
  6. Not got the answers - been late for the last couple of games so missed out on buying a copy - I'd say (with a lot of help from the initials) Lars Bohinen, Zurab, (don't know - yet), and Graham Fenton
  7. Cheers Herbie. Great read as always, although I have to confess I had to Google what the Dorain Gray reference was all about & immediately felt very uneducated! No such problems with Roadrunner & Wile E Coyote though! ?
  8. Shocking referee! Worse than some we had in L1! Bar Trevor Kettle of course (the only ref to date I have actually looked the programme to see who he was after about 60 mins!) Fully expect Liverpool to turn it around 2nd leg. Atletico are awful to watch.
  9. Phew! AA fit enough to play. Come on lads. 3pts by any way or means!
  10. Exactly what I said when he told me. He's no reason to make it up. He's a liverpool fan, a genuine lad, & we were just talking football in general. I mentioned the form of AA which was when he told me. I was stunned but it sounds like it's something which has changed recently. Maybe the thinking was to avoid any contact sessions. Either way, it looks like it was bad planning!
  11. Speaking to a guy last night who knows one of the staff in the treatment room. Says AA is struggling with his back after a weights session on thurs. Apparently it's resulted in a bit of a showdown with the training staff, Mowbray & the players. Players not happy with the weights sessions so close to a game leaving them knackered. Mowbray also not happy & it will now change. This seems to stack up with what we've seen with late injuries to players & them blowing out of their arses after 70 mins. Hope AA is fit enough to play as he's on fire at the mo.
  12. How do you get a league table so wrong! There's about 6 teams showing with incorrect points and / or positions! Edit: Just checked and ironically it's correct on their website.
