Blackburn Rovers Women
windymiller7 replied to Proudtobeblue&white's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
As a big advocate of women's football, this is fantastic- what was the eventual attendance btw? Couldn't make it today as my daughter was playing, but a stone's throw from the Wham stadium. 2-1 down at HT, she came on & with 2 assists they won 4-2 to take them back top of the league with 3 games on hand (weather related) -
I'll take that as a wind up! No matter what we think of Gally, he works hard & would've been replaced by........ nothing!!

I was queueing for a burger with my daughter on Saturday at the burger van behind the club shop when a young woman with a pram and another little girl in tow needed to get through making her way from the car park towards Nuttall St. Naturally I shuffled back a bit & allowed her to pass through, she said thank you & went on her way. It was at this point my daughter said "do you know who that was?". (I don't do all this SM stuff) "No idea love, why?". "That's Sammie's missus & *insert kids names*" The point I'm making here is that this could've been any young mum, not glammed up like most footballer's wives would be & I think that's a fair reflection on Sammie & his principals. No airs & graces, what you see is what you get, work hard & pick up the rewards you deserve. Absolutely love Sammie. 100% all the time, nothing less will do. Unfortunately I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's not here next season, regardless of what division we're in. -

If you play any mainstream music which can be heard by the public then you need a PRS licence. Costs depend on venue size, what it's used for etc but all venues should have one by law - believe it or not, even your local chippy that might just have the radio on in the background. Royalties aren't paid on a 'song by song' basis, but percentages are worked out by them having people visiting various different places and making a note of what's being played. https://www.prsformusic.com/licences I won't clog up this thread with much more info on this, but I will add that if you've ever been in a shop (Matalan is an example of where I've heard this done) & heard a familiar song that's 'not quite right', this will be where unknown artists cover tracks, are paid a one off fee for it and it's then available to play to the public without the need for a licence. -
Eustace Or Useless?

A,blind man on a galloping horse could see where our problems were well before HT. I'm a big Fadz fan, but he should've been subbed at HT & an extra man put in midfield so our back 4 (who aren't blessed with pace) could drop a little deeper. Don't treat us as idiots, that's all I'm asking right now. Oh, that & 3pts please! -

Andy I'll be honest mate most of your posts I like as they're usually well balanced, but come on, Leo is a disaster waiting to happen. Yeah he was OK on Tues cos he had fuck all to do. The one thing he had to do was literally stand still. The ball would've hit him him the face & job done. Yes, the defending was crap, but it was an easy save in the end. And yes, before anyone trawls back through my posts, I was one calling for him to be given a go as "he can't be any worse than Pears". Well his is! Dog shit in fact. If that's harsh, then so be it. I'll bring my gloves on Sat. I'm nearly 49 but I can stop a shot right at me, even without my glasses on! -

Just trying to put a bit of a positive spin on tonight's game (extremely difficult, I know), my daughter can't make it as she's on holiday & only gets back tomorrow so my stepson said he'd use her ST & come along. Now, he's not a Rovers fan (Manure - blame his mother!) but has been to a few games with me over the years & generally we have a good record when he comes along. The games we haven't won have been against prem opposition where we have given a good account of ourselves (Mourinho's Manure & Newcastle last week). His first ever visit to Ewood saw us beat Reading 4-2 with goals from Benni Mac (2), RSC & Tugay. Just hoping his streak continues! -

Ladies & gents, we are deep doggy doo doo! We can't win for shit, & everyone below us has picked up in form. I genuinely fear the worst. Lose or draw on Tues & I think we're done for. -

They just have! -
Looking at the seating map for the Blackburn End, which is almost identical, they look like it's row 13 & 14, but the seat numbers seem to go a bit odd as they're not in line with the others. Unless someone on here has a full seating map for the ground, it might be worth ringing our ticket office & explaining who should be able to give you row & seat numbers which you can obviously then give to your ticket office to see if they're available. Who's your team btw?

Interestingly, Wiki (I know!) have him on exactly 200 league appearances so I wonder if it might be when he tops 200 apps? Not that I could believe that anything such like is remotely a possibility with such humble, well meaning & generous people running the show! 🙄

Millwall have sacked Edwards & are in talks to re-appoint Neil Harris as manager. Great! Just in time for when we play them. Hopefully they don't get a new manager bounce & remain in freefall. Could do with keeping as many teams below us in the mix as possible. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11735/13076994/millwall-joe-edwards-expected-to-part-company-with-struggling-lions-with-neil-harris-in-talks-to-return

So, after getting no joy from RoversTV support email (standard FAQs response!), I've emailed Lynsey Talbot who must be really fed up getting emails from us lot! Sorry Lynsey, but as 'Head of Operations' where else do we go? Also, she's the only one down there that genuinely seems to care & tries to be helpful. I can just imagine her reading it, head in hands going "WTF!? Can nobody do their job properly!?" My main issue is that, if I part with my tenner & the stream doesn't work, where do I go in terms of recompense? Even I don't know what I've bought! Anyway, I'll keep you updated with what I get back & hopefully it'll get corrected on the website prior to KO. Edit: Just had a response from Lynsey who has copied in one of the 'marketing' team who 'will be able to assist'. Edit 2: All sorted now for anyone who wants to purchase a streaming pass:
