  1. My stepson just told me that him and 3 of his mates are going, he's a Utd fan (note I said stepson so don't blame me, blame his mother! 😄) and there's only one of the other 3 that's a Rovers fan. Basically, because of the pricing, they've decided to have an afternoon at the footy & then go on the lash afterwards - at £30 a ticket there'd be no afternoon at the footy. Straight away that's an extra 3 bums on seats purely due to cost. Just goes to show, attractive pricing also gets in 'floating' fans who would probably usually just end up watching Utd, Liverpool, City etc on the TV. Gotta be a good thing!
  2. If u got to the RoversTV thread, someone posted some helpful information there a day or two ago. Apparently you need to re-register or something.
  3. Not quite sure where you've got that from, apparently they play Israel in one of the play-off semi-finals, the group also shows that they won 3.
  4. Love that video - actually brought a tear to my eye! Looking forward to seeing those blue & white daisies, come on Birdy, you can do it!
  5. Can't go to this with it being rearranged for a Friday night as I'm DJing as usual. Thankfully the game will be on in the pub so will get to see it. My daughter's taking a mate of hers with my ST so at least the seat won't be empty. Come on lads don't let me down! There'll be a few Nobbers coming back in after the game & I want to greet them with a smug grin on my face! 2-1 Szmodics & Hill.
  6. Don't think we have tbh. I think they'll probably get left off until after Leeds as you say, I can't see Swag paying someone to put them back on only to remove them again on a month to reinstall again.
  7. They'll be moved anyway as we didn't do it properly, it's just basically white bin bags over the seats! Agree that hopefully they'll put them back properly centralised - if anyone can be arsed!
  8. Likewise. Really surprised our paths haven't crossed at some point but we're definitely a few of his like short.
  9. TBF to the ref on this one, I think most of us probably thought it was a red in real time, it was only after seeing the replays that you could see Scott clearly gets the ball. He only had one look at it & had to make a call. Not very often I'll defend a referee! Thankfully, it didn't affect the result on Sunday (maybe only our GD) & common sense has prevailed meaning SW is available for Friday. Oh, & Swag will be happy, he gets his £500 deposit back! 😄
  10. That's one of the most insane halves of football I've ever seen! Entertaining though. VAR a waste of space, I don't think Michael Oliver's made a decision all game! Spurs in full control until that Ugdogie (or whatever his name is) lunged in with 2 feet & how that wasn't a red I don't know!
  11. TBF, I usually do the same but generally around Feb to see if we've any chance.
  12. Just watched it back myself & you're right, Carter has his hand up and you can clearly hear him screaming to Leo with his hand up clearly trying to tell him to 'hang on a minute'. If the mics around the pitch are picking it up above the crowd noise then surely he must be able to hear him.
  13. I'll be honest, I actually like him. He's only young & obviously comes from a continental background where punching, rather than catching, is the norm. As daft as it sounds, I'm not as nervous with him in goal as Pears. Not a patch on TK obviously, but I at least have confidence in him stopping a shot. This punching shit needs to stop though & needs coaching out of him him - is BB the man to do this? I very much doubt it. All the drills I see online are shot stopping!! Nothing relating to dealing with crosses into the box under pressure!
  14. Maybe our new strike pairing could EAT the championship defences alive! 😆
  15. 😄. Yeah, I think the lost column should say 14, provided the others are correct.
  16. It's basically just the minimum wage: 23+ £10.42 21-22 £10.18 18-20 £7.49 16-17 £5.28 I agree though, not exactly much of an incentive to give up your Saturday afternoons. One thing that did stand out for me though was, that it look like things are going to improve 🤣 :
  17. Totally agree. The biggest mistake was not coming for the ball with the 2 previous opportunities. Having said that. For the actual header, he should've used his feet. Christ, he could've trapped it! I'll still cut him some slack as all keepers make mistakes & it didn't seem to affect him which is the main thing.
  18. Yeah, but you can't just buy the bubble though! 😄.
  19. So sorry to hear that mate. You really have been dealt a rough hand at the moment. Stay strong pal! Thoughts & prayers with you.
