  1. Here we go, not perfect as it does need tweaking for stairs etc but this took me 5 mins in MS word using a screen shot from Ticketmaster! I'm sure people at the club have a more detailed seating plan! It doesn't look central as I couldn't screen shot the whole stand with the seats but the empty bit on the LHS is the same as on the RHS.
  2. The most annoying thing is it's not even seats that they've replaced, they're just white covers so they could've easily adjusted it. It was messing with my head on sat evening. I think I figured out what happened - they started in the middle with the gap between the V and the E = 3 letters on each side. They then had 2 people (or groups of) doing each side but they didn't use block lettering. You've only got to look at both R's, they're different widths! They could've easily got it right by using the seating plan & just overlaying the lettering on a PC screen, that would've given them the exact seats that needed covers!
  3. Spot on, yeah I'd forgotten that one, was it on Trav?
  4. Originally put this in the Championship thread where last night's ref was being discussed, however it's probably more appropraite to post in here: Tonights's ref is Tim Robinson. The same guy who reffed our cup games with Leicester & Sheff Utd (where he failed to show a 2nd yellow to Jack Robinson). He also took charge of our games with Coventry & Bristol City (both away) earlier in the season sending off Jake Garret & Daniel Ayala in the process. Garret's was subsequently rescinded and, imo, Ayala's was a couple of soft yellows. This f*cker owes us one!! edit: As @Tyrone Shoelaces has correctly pointed out in the Champ thread, he also completely missed the Leicester player kicking out at Travis in that game. - I'm beginning to think this guy needs a white cane & a Labrador!
  5. He looks too old to be refereeing anything other than a Sunday league game! He was blowing out of his arse for most of the match. Anyway, tonights's ref is Tim Robinson. (think I'll also add this to the match thread)
  6. Adam was an absolute joy to watch last night and just brought a big smile to my face on numerous occasions. His in-game awareness is off the chart for someone of his age & experience. His mind is a good 2-3 passes ahead of what's going on. The little drops of the shoulder, taking the ball on the turn, calm under pressure, one touch volleyed passes..........I could go on, but I can't wait to see what player he does end up turning into - the sky's the limit.
  7. It does seem a bit self defeatist. I would expect that most people would want to take up the DD option to spread the cost & if they're rejecting me then a lot of people are going to really struggle. I did however do a bit of research (ie Googling!) & it would appear that V12 'may' prefer people with less than perfect history as it 'could' give them more opportunity to make a few extra quid in late fees etc. Allegedly of course.
  8. Last year mine was just over £50 over 8mths. As @smiller14 says, I renewed late so the 10mth option wasn't available. Mine will be a bit more expensive this year as my daughter is now in the 'Young Adult' category. Ironically, after getting declined, I applied for a credit card (I don't have a credit card currently) with 12mths interest free on purchases & was immediately accepted with a £2k limit! Figure that one out - permanent credit of £2k or £550 over 10mths?! Anyway, thank you V12, you've saved me having to pay interest on my ST this year. 👍
  9. What is it with that V12 finance company that Rovers use? The club really don't help themselves! Thought I'd go on & renew today (as it's payday for me I thought I'd arrange it so that my payments came out before I spend up!) Bearing in mind, this is only a month or 2 after V12 had sent me an email thanking me for settling my agreement for last season & if they could be of any assistance in the future to get in touch........Declined! WTF? Absolutely nothing on my credit history has changed over the last 12mths other than me settling my account for last season & being 12mths better off on what's left on my mortgage! I had the same issue a couple of years ago, it seems they only want my custom every other year!
  10. Travis is the one who annoys me the most with this. At the beginning of the season he scored a couple of great goals and also another at the end of last season at Dumpdale. Yet lately he seems to want to do anything but shoot. There were at least 2 or 3 occasions on Sat when he could've pulled the trigger but didn't. If it ends up in row Z then fair enough, but it could also fly into the top corner. If you don't buy a ticket, you don't win the lottery.
  11. Hmm, not sure. Give us a clue, I could only find these images of their 1902 & 1905 kits 😄: Must admit, I didn't know that until you posted the question - looks like they couldn't decide which was the 'right way round' either!
  12. Done. I must be the baby on here, I was only in the next to top age bracket! 😂 On a similar note, I hate it when you have to complete your DoB on a form on your phone & the year starts at the current one & you have to scroll back through every year as there's no option to just type it in. Some of you lot must have no fingerprint left when you've finished! 😜😄
  13. Those that know me, know I can't let that one lie - it's Jessica by the Allman Brothers btw. 😉 (Unless of course this is a one off "day trip to Birmingham" special with it's own theme song)
  14. @Herbie6590Where did you get the number from mate? Looks really good. Also did you get it applied with a press or just a normal iron? Cheers
  15. One of the biggest things for me would be to introduce a proper covered section for disabled supporters. It really does make me feel embarrassed seeing supporters in wheelchairs getting piss wet through at the front of the Riverside.
  16. I've been lucky enough to experience, in person, all of Rovers 'recent' history major moments: FMC '87, Palace '89 (just don't!), Wembley Play-off '92, Anfield '95, Cardiff '02. But for me, nothing beats that day at Anfield. Me & my Liverpool supporting mate got stung by a tout with 2 dodgy tickets, only to then stumble across a guy selling 2 tickets in the main stand because his daughter and son-in-law couldn't make it. We got them at face value and were sat next to him - top bloke! Absolutely amazing day. I was at Uni in Liverpool and when we got back to the Halls of Residence bar I saw a lad in a West Ham shirt. I promptly bought him a pint and joined him in a rendition of "Ludo, Ludo, Ludo!" 😆 As others have said, I would've loved to have seen Dougie & Ronnie play. Heard so much about them on here and from my dad.
  17. Do these f*ckers just want to write their own rule book!? Can't play against parent club, end of!
  18. That's great Ian. I'll get my daughter to ask at her club. She plays for Lostock Hall St Gerard's Ladies which is only a stones throw from Bamber Bridge's ground where Rovers Ladies obviously play their home games.
  19. Usually I'd moan about a 12pm KO but it suits me perfectly today. (Provided it's done & dusted in 90mins) Watch the 1st half, run my daughter to her footy game at HT (luckily they're at home & it's only a 5-10 min trip), back home for the 2nd half, then back to watch her game which is a 2pm KO. We're on the march with Jon Dahl's army! We're all going to Wemberlee.... COYB
  20. The first one's easy as I actually read it this morning in a link someone posted to a JDT interview: Us, Accy Stanley, Ipswich, Crawley, Hartlepool, & Colchester. No idea on the 2nd Last one is Stockport County but will obviously be Everton once they move into their new ground.
  21. It's the first time I've ever heard a football crowd roar with laughter. It was so ridiculous we didn't even bother with 'what the f*ckin hell was that'! 😆
  22. Pretty sure JW is 11000, BBE & DE have around 8000 each and the Riverside 4000. That totals 31000 so not far off barring a couple of hundred. IIRC the split between upper & lower behind the goals is around 3000/5000.
