Well, seeing as the festive season is upon us & that one of our most iconic songs was based on a Christmas tune (Shearer wonderland), how about a new one for Sammie: Sammie Szmodics' coming to town, Probably best done in the style of Bruce Springsteen rather than the original. Just a thought. Can't make it tomorrow myself unfortunately due to the early KO, so over to you guys & gals! 😄

My stepson just told me that him and 3 of his mates are going, he's a Utd fan (note I said stepson so don't blame me, blame his mother! 😄) and there's only one of the other 3 that's a Rovers fan. Basically, because of the pricing, they've decided to have an afternoon at the footy & then go on the lash afterwards - at £30 a ticket there'd be no afternoon at the footy. Straight away that's an extra 3 bums on seats purely due to cost. Just goes to show, attractive pricing also gets in 'floating' fans who would probably usually just end up watching Utd, Liverpool, City etc on the TV. Gotta be a good thing!

TBF to the ref on this one, I think most of us probably thought it was a red in real time, it was only after seeing the replays that you could see Scott clearly gets the ball. He only had one look at it & had to make a call. Not very often I'll defend a referee! Thankfully, it didn't affect the result on Sunday (maybe only our GD) & common sense has prevailed meaning SW is available for Friday. Oh, & Swag will be happy, he gets his £500 deposit back! 😄
