Just watched it back myself & you're right, Carter has his hand up and you can clearly hear him screaming to Leo with his hand up clearly trying to tell him to 'hang on a minute'. If the mics around the pitch are picking it up above the crowd noise then surely he must be able to hear him. -

I'll be honest, I actually like him. He's only young & obviously comes from a continental background where punching, rather than catching, is the norm. As daft as it sounds, I'm not as nervous with him in goal as Pears. Not a patch on TK obviously, but I at least have confidence in him stopping a shot. This punching shit needs to stop though & needs coaching out of him him - is BB the man to do this? I very much doubt it. All the drills I see online are shot stopping!! Nothing relating to dealing with crosses into the box under pressure! -
Would you try two up front?

Maybe our new strike pairing could EAT the championship defences alive! 😆 -
Rovers' last 7 managers ranked

😄. Yeah, I think the lost column should say 14, provided the others are correct. -

Totally agree. The biggest mistake was not coming for the ball with the 2 previous opportunities. Having said that. For the actual header, he should've used his feet. Christ, he could've trapped it! I'll still cut him some slack as all keepers make mistakes & it didn't seem to affect him which is the main thing. -

Didn't we wear red end of last season? -
Yeah, but you can't just buy the bubble though! 😄.

So sorry to hear that mate. You really have been dealt a rough hand at the moment. Stay strong pal! Thoughts & prayers with you. -
I used to work for a consultancy firm owned by Gary Neville around 2008/9 (King Associates) and it was around the time that the house was being completed. I've actually been to the house a few times. Whether Venkys still own it or anyone else does/resides there, I've no idea. What I do know is, it's at Top of Th Knotts in Bolton and definitely did not have gold taps! 😆 The building at the top of the photo also forms part of the estate. This is, what was, the housekeeper's cottage - Gary & Emma lived in this whilst the main house was being completed.

His missus is pregnant isn't she? Wonder if it's anything to do with that. -

Offer him a "pay as you play" deal. He's currently earning nothing & wants to prove himself, if he's a crock, it costs us nothing. Surely got to be worth a phone call (not that it will happen). Someone of his ability & experience could rip up this league & prove a very valuable member of the dressing room.. On a side note, I didn't realise he was only 32, seems to have been around for ages! -
Dilan Markanday.. potential talent or ?

Agree with that. He seems to want to come centrally. A few times last night I noticed him & Semir making the same runs leaving us with less options. -

Obviously! it was a genuine question which @Mattyblue has answered. I assume that he will qualify for either country then, given the reply. -

Just on Telalovic, everyone seems to keep referring to him as 'the German' - I know he came to us from Germany, but I thought he was Bosnian? -
The bar in the BBE nearest the Riverside had 4 queues and 3 people serving! To add to this, they've introduced 'Pie, Mash, Peas & Gravy' (I'm not even getting started with the £7.50 asking price!) which then takes each person serving around a minute to do as they get the pie from the warmer, grab a tray, spoon in the mash, spoon in the peas, take the pie out of it's wrapper, put it in the tray, put the wrapper in the bin, ladle on the gravy and then sprinkle with parsley! (fuckin' parsley!!!!). I nearly lost my shit before the game as people kept on ordering this and then to top it all off, the guy in front of me said "oh, and 2 teas please" and I then had to watch on again as the hot water thingy dribbled hot water into the cups at a rate of 1 litre per month! What happened to a good old tea urn?

Add to that Sancho is now training with the kids after his twitter (sorry 'X') outburst.

Excellent result. Superb goal from Hedges. I'm a happy camper! Loved the fact JDT used his interview on Sky to repeat what he said the other day. IMO it was him making sure the owners heard it - can imagine his thinking, they might not catch up online with BBC lancs, but there's a bloody good chance they'll be watching Sky! He also made me chuckle with his quip about it being nearly bedtime for half of the team! (ie i need some experienced players!) 😅 -
Thoughts & prayers with his family. Taken way too soon. Ewood will be a strange place for a while without hearing his voice. RIP Matt
