  1. You can't get someone's address from an IP address, only the ISP the IP belongs to 317292[/snapback] Can't you hack into their computer system & get their details? Not that I'm encouraging anyone to do that...
  2. Like most others on here: Preston It'd be good to beat 'em twice more - just like in the promotion season. Also it'd mean that one relegation place will be known at the start...
  3. Just to say I like the new look! The colour scheme really suits the place!
  4. I'm expecting a draw, prob 1-1. Also expecting a certain midfielder with long blonde hair to get a fantastic reception off the home fans.
  5. I want to know why he thinks it's more important to finish 4th than win the Champions League... What's the point of winning it if you're not able to qualify next time around?
  6. As they've lost 4-1 at Portsmouth: I can declare we are officially safe! Southampton can get 37 pts, Norwich & Palace can get 39 pts Southampton + 2 others?
  7. Yeah, but you're implying that we've got players who can score! I say 0-0
  8. The gloss is kinda taken off by the fact that twice we lost in the semi-final (including a 4-1 trashing by Chelsea) & blew a 3-1 lead in the 2nd leg of the final vs Palace Burnley, Blackpool and PNE were in the third or fourth divisions at that point, I believe. Their fans would have been in raptures at that kind of success. True... There's also the bonus of us having beat those teams every time we've played 'em Slightly off-topic (sorry!) but when was the last time we played Blackpool? In the manx cup? Not sure about the league. One memory of mine, was rovers versus Blackpool at Bloomfield road in the sixties. It was in the first division [proper first division] and was, I'm lead to believe, the last ever game played on Christmas day. Mum wasn't too impressed with me going to football Christmas day. Should've told her it was your present to her as the house'd be nice & quiet for a few hours!

  11. The next few weeks might be interesting to see how the Sun reacts to Rooney suing them for libel as it'd show us what to expect if we try & sue 'em
  12. From Football365 Manager Mark Hughes was concerned, though, the player would not get a fair hearing as the club were only able to submit a letter and DVD in support of Todd. Hughes stated after Wednesday night's 1-0 Ewood Park victory over Crystal Palace that the evidence was "inconclusive" and urged the FA to "see sense". A DVD? Wonder what they chose? Fight Club? Peter Kay? Highlights of our season?
  13. I feel it'll be a draw: 1-1, it's about time we conceded a goal vs a crappy team!
  14. If we win I'm pretty sure it'd be mathematically impossible for us not to stay up. We'd have 39 pts - Palace would only be able to get a max of 39. Norwich would have to win their midweek game to be able to get 39 & if Southampton lose v Bolton they'd only be able to get 39
  15. Hopefully we'll bounce back - Rovers 1-0 Just hope I'm as accurate with this prediction as with Arse...
  16. From the Observer Arsenal are in their fourth FA Cup final in five years, Blackburn are in disgrace. Not content with ruining this FA Cup semi-final with their negative football and relentless fouls, Rovers even spoilt the afternoon of double goalscorer Robin van Persie when Andy Todd elbowed him in the face as he turned to celebrate his second Nice to see a balanced report from a southern newspaper!
  17. Nice and optimistic you muppet! i hope i bump into you Would you like cream, custard or ice cream with that humble pie? I hate being right... At least I didn't put my money where my mouth is.. that'd be a real kick in the teeth
  18. Nice and optimistic you muppet! i hope i bump into you I won't be there unfortunately, I've got a prior arrangment that is very difficult to back out of... Oh well - guess I'll have to watch it in the pub!
  19. It's gonna be either a total humiliation, e.g. Arse 3-0 Rovers OR we'll lose on pens...
  20. From Football365's Mediawatch I think they meant it metaphorically... Anyone know which company's betting guide?
  21. Won't be able to make it unfortunately - I'm going on a stag do (with some other Rovers fans who are ###### off that the semi is on the same day). Just hope we can find a pub that's showing it!
  22. I'm expecting a result which will drag us back into a relegation battle: Rovers 0-1 Southampton
  23. Rovers 0-2 Arsenal Feeling even less confident than usual - the last few games have been a fluke
  24. Liverpool 1-0 Rovers I'm expecting a bit of a come-down after Sunday's excitement
  25. Rovers 0-1 Leicester I've never experienced Rovers in a FA Cup semi-final & I don't expect it to start any time soon...
