My own stats admittedly but Coyle definitely had 29 points from 31 games before he was sacked. Last Championship game he had was vs. Sheffield Wednesday (a) 14/2/17 My table obviously doesn't award points for cup wins!

As a keen statistician myself I am seeing some wrong information being shown. A lot of the Coyle v Ismael stats is like comparing apples to pears. League games only show their own details. Coyle had 7 wins in 31. Ismael has 5 in 17. Also key to note with Coyle’s overall record is cup wins, of which he had 4 of his 11 wins in cup competitions (beating Crewe, Mansfield, Blackpool and QPR)

Leonard has made just 10 starts for Rovers since breaking into the team at Huddersfield 10th April 2023. His last Championship start for Rovers was away at West Brom 13/1/24 under JDT! I agree with the majority that feel there is a player in there, but 10 starts in two and a bit seasons shows his lack of availability.

Rovers have played just 14 Championship games since Norwich City last visited Ewood on 1st March (for Ismael's first game in charge) the team that day was Pears; Brittain, Carter, Hyam, Ribero; Forshaw (Tronstad), Travis; Dolan (Dennis), Cantwell (Weimann), Kargbo (Hedges); Gueye (Ohashi). Of the 16 players used that day 6 have left (or are due to leave e.g. Pears) 3 of the 4 unused subs have also departed - Rankin-Costello, Woodrow and Sanderson. Only Toth remains Carter and Forshaw unlikely to feature due to injury Leaving just 8 survivors from only fourteen games ago! The grand reset has happened quickly!

Both teams reach the playoffs where Rovers once again are defeated by Eustace at Ewood and finally at Pride Park in the Semi FInal 2nd Leg where 84 year old George Courtney comes out of retirement to award the home side a penalty in stoppage time which is duly dispatched by Duncan McGuire. More seriously,the fans to put more effort into the 150th Anniversary than the club. Officially, it passes with a whimper.

Probably a glimpse of what the season ahead will be (and realistically what the season was last year) when it’s good, we’ll have a hard working, front foot team. Athletic, direct and capable of getting results. Fleeting moments of quality but built on a foundation of hard work. Less Arte More Labore when it’s bad, we’ll have plenty of injuries because of the demanding workload, no real guile or X Factor to break down teams, or to unlock defences that sit behind the ball when already 1-0 up. The frightening thing me and for most fans is relegation to League One. From what I’ve seen over the past week I think this squad is capable of staying in the division. Where we go from there depends on late recruitment, form and fitness.

Does anyone have any information on Andy McNally? One of the early Rovers Ladies' coaches who brought huge success to the team. Can't see much of him online though?

I don’t think Middlesbrough are as attractive a move as they were a couple of years ago. Will be interesting to see how Edwards does, will he be the boss that took Luton up? Or the boss that all but took a Luton down two years later? id be onto my agent to go higher than Boro and Derby if I was Cal.

The only disappointment I have is I wished they'd gone with this, nod to the 50/60s also

As a proud Blackburnian of nearly 40 years I have to admit…. I have no idea where those tiles are! and if Blackburn is famous for those tiles then it’s gone completely over my head.
