  1. Socceroos squad is: Marco Bresciano (Parma, Italy), Tim Cahill (Everton, England), Scott Chipperfield (Basel, Switzerland), Ahmad Elrich (Busan I'Cons, Korea), Brett Emerton (Blackburn Rovers, England), Vince Grella (Parma, Italy), Zeljko Kalac (Perugia, Italy), Harry Kewell (Liverpool, England), Steve Laybutt (KAA Ghent, Belgium), Stan Lazaridis (Birmingham City, England), Jonathan McKain (National Bucuresti, Romania), Kevin Muscat (Millwall, England), Lucas Neill (Blackburn Rovers, England), Tony Popovic (Crystal Palace, England), Mark Schwarzer (Middlesbrough, England), Josip Skoko (Genclerbirligi, Turkey), Mile Sterjovski (Basel, Switzerland), Danny Tiatto (Leicester City, England), Tony Vidmar (Cardiff City, Wales), Mark Viduka (Middlesbrough, England) Norway squad is: André Bergdølmo (Borussia Dortmund, Germany), John Carew (Besiktas, Turkey), Erik Hagen (Vålerenga, Norway), Jon Inge Høiland (Malmø FF, Sweden), Magne Hoset (København, Denmark), Steffen Iversen (Vålerenga, Norway), Espen Johnsen (Rosenborg, Norway), Azar Karadas (Benfica, Portugal), Tommy Svindal Larsen (Nürnberg, Germany), Claus Lundekvam (Southampton, England), Thomas Myhre (Sunderland, England), Alexander Ødegaard (Sogndal, Norway), Morten Gamst Pedersen (Blackburn, England), John Arne Riise (Liverpool, England), Sigurd Rushfeldt (Austria Wien, Austria), Jan Gunnar Solli (Rosenborg, Norway), Ragnvald Soma (Brann, Norway), Bengt Sæternes (Brann, Norway) I expect Australia to line up as -------------------Schwarzer Neill---------Popovic-----Vidmar-------Lazaridis -------Bresciano----Grella-------Cahill Emerton-----------Viduka-----------------Kewell With the players to look out for being Bresciano and possibly Elrich, who will come on in the second half for Emo I think Australia should win, but Norway have a bit of talent there (hopefully Morten starts) so it will be close 3-2 to Australia i think
  2. I loved the first one and fninshed it pretty quickly, but vice city had me stuck for so long in different parts that i gave up. This one was always going to be the third installment and hopfully lives up to the expectation
  3. I honestly hope Morten will change club... I have seen so many people being negative about him, and a manager who also don't like him? It's no fun - and therefore I hope he'll change club to.. newcastle or something if he cant get a game here at rovers, whats the point of moving to a different team with competition like laurent robert and co? Morten should just put his head down and work hard, and his oppurtunity will eventually come
  4. I think weve distinguished between morten and rovers fans here...
  5. bbc gossip coloumn say that hughes has banned the player from calling him sparky, and that they must call him the boss or gaffer Must be the turning point in the season
  6. Feeling optimistic about this one, i think the squad will be more upbeat. it was good to see us playing the ball around a bit more with fergie in the middle. hopefully if we play the ball around well we can frustrate norwich and get a good result Rovers 2 Ferguson Neil Norwich 1 Freidel neil Nissa Short McEveley Emerton Fergie Tugay mgp bothroyd dickov
  7. it was to try and rid myself on badluck really. I lost 120 all up because of the cup aswell, but i would have forgone the 100 bucks for a rovers win. Good to see Bothroyd play well, Ferguson and Emerton also very pleasing.
  8. i put 100 dollars on liverpool at 1.70.... lets hope im wrong good to see javi get another run possibly
  9. i have a strange feeling about this game 2-2 but i also had one against chelsea aswell. but one thing for sure id like to see either de pedro or mgp on the left to give us some balance
  10. i wouldn't object to a 1 year contract, anything other then that would be too risky for a 36 year old
  11. as long as he remebers the idea of what a right winger does then ill be happy. he has been a quality player over the last month
  12. i am also one who has done the same, but everyone must not get carried away with one performance, we need him to keep working at it and hopefully his time will come again. In my opinion he has alot to prove. Weve also got Dickov who was great again, stead who is doing everything but scoring, bothroyd who look excellent coming off the bench and young gally
  13. funnily enough that is the person i likened to him after his performance against pompey, big and strong, but also powerful and skillful like adriano.
  14. came on as a 65th min sub and i thought he did extremely well for his short cameo. had some nice turns, held the ball up well and hit some nice shots with power. very impressed by his performance
  15. *Big Roger Federer backhand* Wake up. 2-0 Pompey. , i saw that coming, lets just hope its not 6-0 in the first
  16. lets see...Wenger, Mourinho and Ferguson? to me id say either Hughes, Strachan or even Houllier because he could attract decent players to the club
  17. Someone stated that we may lose barry to newcastle in january because of souness leaving, allthough this may have been a mindless rumour, i dont like what he has to say about newcastle. F365 page Barry Ferguson was shocked and disappointed when Graeme Souness quit Blackburn to take over at Newcastle. But the Rovers midfielder insists he can fully understand his former manager's reasons for leaving Ewood Park. The Blackburn skipper was in his hotel room at Scotland's World Cup base in Troon when he was given the shock news by club-mate Paul Dickov. But Ferguson insists he feels no anger towards the man who brought him to the Barclays Premiership from Rangers last year. He told the Scottish Sun: "I think his job was always safe at Blackburn and, in a way, you can't blame him. "I'm shocked and gutted but I can't feel true anger inside of me. "Truth is there are few bigger clubs in Britain than Newcastle - I think they are the biggest apart from Manchester United. "They have a massive fan base and a great place to play. If you built a home for 150,000 fans there they'd still fill it. "Every second person you see there has a Newcastle top on - even the grannies! "It's a fantastic footballing place and the passion is just the same as he will have felt as manager of Rangers all those years ago. That's a major reason why he has gone in my eyes."
  18. shocked, but id want smoeone with good tactical knowledge and experience, rather than a bit of agro and can motivate players. strachan? now lets bring back dunnie??
  19. really dissapoitning, Benni would have been a brilliant signing if we had of pulled it off, but you never know, maybe Bothroyd can produce the goods!
  20. the fact that we he 2 left sided midfielders says it all. definately a stronger squad
  21. i have been told thats he has alot of talent, but hes very slack and lazy
  22. this is the exact time to show the "bottle" suey was after 10 to go cmon rovers!
