  1. We only created one real chance all game, a chance Pongo should have put away easily. If you can't break down ten men you don't deserve to win. Friedel looked shaky, Savage was poor and Pongo didn't look anything special. Bellamy was never in the game although Peter looked lively when he came on. Overall we should have at the least got a point from that game. We must have had at least 65% of the ball in the second half but couldn't capitalise. Oh yeah, and Areta is a cheatin f***er
  2. Goin' to game tonight hopefully it will be a good one.
  3. Savage was awarded a rating of 2 out of 10 on ceefax
  4. I can't help but laugh Happy Days
  5. Only just recovered, what a game! Where did Bentley find his scoring boots from? Brilliant performance by the lads, fully deserved victory. MotM: Bentley AND Rio
  6. It wasn't long ago everyone was calling him 'our makelele'. How times change ..
  7. Yeah Smith is suspended, which is probably a good thing before he injuries one of our players.
  8. Gally was cup-tied so he wouldn't have been able to play, although it might be a idea to recall him for the game against the scum. Well we scored two goals, so you can't see we where lacking firepower. Today also goes further to prove that Zurab & Todd don't make a good partnership, we've concede loads when them two have played together.
  9. Quote of the year: "You've always got too much to say for yourself. Why don't you just f*** off?" Hughesy, Hughesy !!!
  10. We desperatley need a striker. Kuqi and Bentley just don't work simple as. I can't see scring many at all with them two upfront. Let's hope Bellamy's back in time (which is probably highly doubtul) EDIT:- Brilliant preview btw
  11. Please don't take pictures directly from the official site.
  12. That grey away kit is terrible. I'd probably pick the red away one and the middle home one.
  13. The Sky commentators where absoutley terrible. Alan Smith inparticular slated Rovers at any chance. Saying we hadn't done anything and we looked the weaker team despite having 60% of the play. What a total d1ckhead. Well played Rovers, just a shame Bellers wasn't playing. Quote by Hughesy sums it up: "Mr Poll thought 61,000 people had come to see him. Referees have to remember fans come to watch two teams play, not the referee."
  14. Anyone apart from Big Sam or Bruce. What about Steve Cotterill No, i reckon Curbishley is the man for the job.
  15. Thanks for that. To be honest i'd much rather see MGP play upfront than Bentley and put Peter on the left-wing.
  16. Did he play upfront yesterday when Dickov went off injured or did we switch to 4-5-1?
  17. I decide to have a look at the differences between the team that lost 3-0 against newcastle (the team that souness left behind) and the team that won yesterday. September 2004 Newcastle 3-0 Rovers Newcastle: Given, Carr, O'Brien, Elliott, Hughes, Dyer, Jenas, Bowyer, Robert Shearer, Bellamy Rovers: Friedel, Neill, Short, Matteo, Gray, Emerton, Ferguson, Flitcroft, Pedersen, Dickov, Stead January 2006 Newcastle 0-1 Rovers Newcastle: Given, Ramage, Bramble, Boumsong, Babayaro, Solano, Bowyer, Clark, Luque, Shearer, Chopra. Rovers: Friedel, Neill, Nelsen, Khizanishvili, Gray, Reid, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Kuqi, Dickov Just thought it would intersting to see the difference.
  18. Good look to him wherever he goes i say. Henry and Walcott (meant to be the new henry) upfront for Arsenal. Could be a deadly partnership
