  1. If you swapped Hotlby and Rothwell round, that midfield couls excite me. All can pick a pass, all can get stuck in protecting the defence, all can maraud forward. I'd tell Travis to sit back and protect, have Rothwell and Johnson go closing down and pushing forward.
  2. Sky's camera work is shocking. Missing so much live action because of replays of nothing in particular.
  3. Flitcroft, right? Mine's an odd one, but I absolutely loved the famous 'Santa Cruz is coming to town' Wigan away game. I know we lost but that day was the most fun I've had as an away supporter.
  4. Because I won't get a ST until my dad stops his ST boycott, which will be when Venkys go. We pick at least one game a season though.
  5. Sounds about right for the kind of saddo that apparently screenshots websites for his twitter account. You'd think being a journalist/blogger of some sort he'd be able to generate his own content. It's actually quite hilarious how obsessed he seems to be with trying to paint the site in a particular light while driving web traffic here as a result.
  6. Roque and Julio Santa Cruz (did he ever play?)
  7. Personally it has to be either Rhodes or Mulgrew. Rhodes for the obvious reasons. Mulgrew because I think he was more important to us in L1 than people really recognise. His international quality at the back kept us calm, his goals were immeasurably important and most importantly: he could've abandoned us when we got relegated but didn't. Same goes for Graham. That kind of loyalty in dark times can't be bought.
  8. I have a memory of Rio Ferdinand donning the blue and white halves in February 2006...
  9. Ah, it's probably because I'm doing it from a mobile then, because there's no 'open image in new tab' option
  10. @Biddy @OnePhilT For example... https://imgur.com/gallery/FhMMtxD
  11. It's annoying, but I say let him do it. It's exposure.
  12. Might SuperBrad be tempted to coach for us?
  13. Hearing that Stu Bennett is the commentator replacing Cornette??? I'll watch NWA for him alone, he's always been a first rate talker in all his roles!
  14. Well, I loved it watching all in one go BUT be safer to split it into 2 or 4 if you don't already love mafia type films. Be aware it's a story and NOT an action film.
  15. Nearly a year since this last was bumped! What did people think of The Irishman? I thought it was a touch long (3hrs would've done it justice, imo) but it was a typical Scorsese masterclass in telling a story. DeNiro and Pacino as awesome as ever, but I thought Pesci was the standout performer. Well worth coming out of retirement for that role. Played the slightly menacing, all-seeing mob boss to perfection imo. Loved it.
  16. Only 3 disappointments for me: Why RuDolph? Should've called an audible and had Street Profits win. Treatment of Walter in his match. Not saying he should've stood tall, but he deserved better booking than he got. Should've ended with Baysler standing over Lynch, without the fight back. Otherwise one of the better booked WWE PPVs of the year imo, really enjoyed it.
  17. The Fiend should've continued taking out established stars. He should've claimed to be THE dark heart of the WWE, when taking out Kane to provoke the Undertaker. He should now be preparing to legit retire (and I mean utterly squash) the Undertaker at SS. Then just disappear. Just do the odd Firefly Funhouse skit again. Then just as #30 is due to come out at the Rumble (say Strowman or Bryan or even Punk to turn up the heel heat on Fiend) they're found bloodied and tied up in a crucifix pose, with 'Let me in' painted on their chest. Fiend is then #30, wins Rumble, 'almost squash' WWE champ for the title at WM. Is what should've happened imo.
  18. In the US, AEW is advertised in virtually every ad break on every non-Fox channel. WWE doesn't even seem to be advertised on Fox's channels. Don't think the area I'm in is the reason either, as we're in New England. Been in Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, soon to be in Connecticut and New York though.
  19. Don't think I've seen a keeper as nervous as Walton
  20. Wednesday nights will be affected by MLB for a few weeks, mind. Figures might pick up after.
  21. I note they avoided Seth and Wyatt altogether. It's a bold strategy, Cotton.
  22. They didn't just come 'near as dammit' to killing Wyatt's push (I'll give them tonight to save it), but the whole HIAC gimmick! It was was built upon Mick Foley nearly actually dying twice in the space of 10minutes FFS!
