Is this 18 good enough for the playoffs?
Kaminski
JRC Hyam Cook Pickering
Morton O’Brien
Thomas Dack BBD
Gallagher
Pears, S.Wharton, Garrett, Buckley, Dolan, Hedges, ‘New striker’
Leaves Ayala, Travis, A.Wharton, Phillips, Carter, Edun, Vale, Szmodics, Brittain (injured) all without a spot.
Whatever new striker comes in at this stage won’t be a starter.
Also blocks the passage of A.Wharton & Phillips, and keeps our most expensive signing of the summer out of the 18.
This wouldn’t be my 18 by the way but I don’t see JDT ditching Buckley etc any time soon.
Doesn’t really scream ‘plan’ or ‘project’ either does it?
Just observations.
no gallagher doesnt score enough diaz is off the boil, and morton is garbage

OK, I'm into panic stations now and thinking logistics.
Rovers usually arrive at away games 60 minutes before the match (I believe?)On a good run, without traffic, Brockhall to Birmingham City is 2 hours 30 minutes on a coach.
Rovers kick off at 7:45pm
I reckon we have 36 minutes before the coach leaves for the game and the opportunity for a player to meet the manager before they sign is over. Does a player sign without meeting the manager in person? I'm not sure, does anyone know how normal that would be?
if its a loan they'll use face time or something

Dack's resurgence probably put paid to what little interest we might have had in Vetlesen.
well that and the fee

Kenneth Zohore released by WBA, possibly someone that we would look at. A striker, cheap, available and close enough to beat the clock.
doesn't fit the criteria eg loan player with ridiculous loan fee

And sorba may give him a nudge but if Berge leaves Sheff united then you know there’s only one place he’s going. Berge will be sold late on, we will hang around and Sheff will swoop in on the last minute.
aren't they under embargo

I’d love to know how much “not cheap” is. If we are paying significant fees to borrow players it’s another thing making a mockery of the “project”.
i'd heard close to one million quid

Very frustrating, but getting rid of Venkys when we are losing circa £400,000 a WEEK which they make up, and probably pay average wages in the division.Have you anybody in mind who would take over the club. Can’t think of many who would want to take it on..
interesting thing today myself and @Miller11had a catch up with two gents from birmingham supporters trust, one who knows pasha personally and has had meetings with him

Ozzy Osbourne - Let me hear you scream

I lost interest after the blackpool protest the fans not willing to stand up for the club left a bad taste. I eventually came back but it doesnt feel like it used to, i mainly go now to bring my lad along. We live in Manchester now and i'd hate for him to support either Manchester team. The apathy around the senior management of the club waggott and co the bellend nature of our online fans on twitter and facebook make it easy to switch off

Not sure if this is the right thread, but...
Suhail... Is he still "involved"? Was his name mentioned in fans' forums before JDT and GB came in? If so, has Suhail's name been mentioned since?
Asking as a dullard. I always understood Suhail to be the eyes and ears of Venkys in the UK. I'm curious if the structure put in place in summer has changed anything on that front. I would assume not.
nothing goes to Pune without going via Suhail

Why would I be frustrated when we won the game. I picked the team cos I wanted to focus on securing a playoff place
chance of a giant killing by us.
Down to your opinion
Morton has played a key part in our being 3rd in the league and like I said before when he plays well do we as a team.
You last point is your opinion. Wharton and Garrett are 2 very good young players who need developing and playing at the right times.
Cos I seen the goal cos 2 people posting on twitter and I posted a link to the goal on twitter. You probably miss that post tho
A giant killing beating a team 3 places up in the ladder and another team 13th in the premier league? I’m genuinely baffled by this

I’ve just been walking through the town centre and passed the totally wicked shop.
Theres a big decal in the window with Rovers crest saying something like “Official partner of Blackburn Rovers”.
I had a quick look through the window and saw some shelves “dedicated”to Rovers merchandise, and it was one of the most pathetic sights I have ever seen. Empty shelves, 4 Rovers pint glasses, about half a dozen Rover the dog teddy’s, and a couple of other bits of tat. I should’ve got a picture. Once again something done so half arsed it’s embarrassing to all concerned.
sounds like the club shop it is just missing a couple of 4xxxl tops

I think we need to move on from the re signing of ex players as well. Rothwell won’t happen for a number of reasons.

I enjoyed today on a better pitch that game finishes 2/3 nil. I thought we controlled it quite well my only criticism is witl BBD looking off it ( or knackered ) I would have liked to have seen Markanday get on. Dack looked a lot better today. The run over christmas is about getting through it, so i am pleased we ended it with a win. On to norwich i hope we have a decent cup run

myself and @Miller11sat down to a meeting with SW, we went throught the struggles the town has, area's to target as a lot of our match going fans come from the surrounding area. We discussed prices incentives and loads of other things to get bums on seats what did we get we'll look into it

Chaddy you’re on a deserted island, the sun is going down. You have no chance to get off the island, you have no food and no water and the sunset before you is a metaphor for your life over the coming days.
Suddenly, a pixie appears and offers to play you the final piece of music you’ll ever hear. What do you pick?
I can't speak for Chris, i want to go out peacefully so its Slayer : Angel of Death for me ( don't listen to that Chris ) it'll break your ears
